With the new charging case, you will be able to reap 30 hours of listening time altogether. In comparison, the original AirPods Pro featured a total listening time of 24 hours. With the second generation, the AirPods Pro 2 has received another way through which you can charge your earbuds. Scroll down to read more details on the subject.
You Can Charge Your AirPods Pro 2 Using Your Apple Watch Charger
The AirPods Pro 2 will offer an enhanced listening experience to users with 2 times better Active Noise Cancellation. Previously you had two ways to charge your AirPods Pro – through Lightning and MagSafe wireless charging. With the latest version, Apple has added another method to charge the AirPods Pro 2.
You now have the option to charge your AirPods Pro 2 with an Apple Watch charger. Simply place the charging case on the Apple Watch charging case and it will be charged wirelessly. The feature is exclusive to the AirPods 2 as the original model is restricted to being charged with a Lightning cable and MagSafe. Altogether, the new model can now be charged in three different ways.
The new AirPods Pro is available for $249 and pre-orders will go live on Friday, September 9. We will share more details on the subject as soon as further information is available. Also, check out our announcement post for more details.
