Apple Watch Ultra is Compatible With Older Watch Bands

Apple announced the new Apple Watch Series 8 and Apple Watch SE 2 at its Far Out event recently with a boatload of forward-facing additions. The company also introduced a new model to the lineup that offers a new design and a bigger chassis compared to the rest of the lineup. With a 49mm case, the Apple Watch Ultra is the biggest and chunkiest Apple Watch to date. It has now been discovered by a YouTuber that you can use older watch bands on the new Apple Watch Ultra.

The New Apple Watch Ultra Comes With a New Design But It is Compatible With Older Watch Bands

The Apple Watch Ultra features a bigger battery all thanks to the new design that is thicker than the Series 8. It is oriented towards adventurers and athletes, allowing them to navigate and track their health data. As mentioned earlier, you can use your older bands with the new Apple Watch Ultra.

The short video clip was shared by Emkwan on Twitter, showing how he used the Apple Watch Series 7 watch band on the Apple Watch Ultra. It can be seen that the watch band sits perfectly with the new model. What this means is that even though Apple has introduced new and dedicated watch bands for the new model, you will still be able to use your older watch bands.
