White House Portrait Unveiling Ceremony For Obamas Full of Awkward Moments (VIDEO)

Joe and Jill Biden hosted the Obamas for the unveiling of their official White House portraits on Wednesday.

The portrait unveiling ceremony, which turned out to be full of awkward moments, took place in the East Room.

Barack Obama referred to Joe Biden as “Vice President” – an obvious sign of tension between the two men.

“Thank you, Vice President Biden,” Obama said in his opening statement. “That was all set up.”

Joe Biden awkwardly laughed off the jab.

Michelle Obama dwarfed her husband as the two waited for the okay to unveil their portraits.

Barack Obama looked goofy and awkward as he prepared to unveil his portrait.

After the unveiling, Barack Obama thanked artist Sharon Sprung “for capturing everything I love about Michelle: her grace, her intelligence, and the fact that she’s fine.”

Cringe.

Michelle Obama shook her head as her husband called her “fine.”

In another painfully awkward moment, Joe Biden was the only person sitting during the second standing ovation.

Dr. Jill humiliated her husband Joe for being the only person sitting during a standing ovation.

“Honestly, everybody stood but Joe,” Jill Biden said rudely pointing.
