Martha’s Vineyard Already Shipping Illegal Immigrants Off The Island by Bus

Their stay on Martha’s Vineyard didn’t last very long.

Massachusetts Governor Charlie Baker announced he was activating 125 members of the National Guard to help deal with 50 illegal immigrants flown into Martha’s Vineyard.

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis reportedly sent two planes full of illegal immigrants to deep blue Martha’s Vineyard on Wednesday, prompting officials there to declare the relatively small influx an “unexpected urgent humanitarian situation.”

Baker (R) responded to the crisis by activating nearly three National Guardsmen for every illegal immigrant and transporting them to Joint Base Cape Cod (JBCC).

The “relief effort,” Baker explains in a statement released Friday morning, is necessary because “the island communities are not equipped to provide sustainable accommodation.”

If Martha’s Vineyard, which the New York Times describes as a “summer destination for the rich and powerful” where the median home price is $1 million can’t handle the ‘surge,’ how do open-borders advocates expect border towns to handle much higher numbers?

Illegal Immigrants Just Got Deported Off Martha’s Vineyard

Almost comically, videos emerged Friday showing buses arriving to whisk the illegal immigrants away from Martha’s Vineyard.

NBC News correspondent Emilie Ikeda tweeted about the 125 National Guard members being deployed to assist as the “migrants … are boarding buses.”

Boston Globe reporter Samantha Gross tweeted that there are three buses in all – one long and two short – arriving to “transport folks off the island.”

They’re being deported off the island because the rich and affluent can’t find a way to house and feed them, if you believe the reporting.

Even better – one of the buses arrived with a destination sign that simply reads, “Have a nice day!”

Have a nice day … but don’t let the door hit you on the way out!

Buses have arrived in Edgartown to transport migrants from St. Andrew’s Parish House.

Just a couple of hours earlier, State Senator Julian Cyr, a Democrat who represents the island, tweeted that Martha’s Vineyard’s handling of the crisis shows “we are a community that supports immigrants.”

And then the buses rolled in to take them away.

The Panic is Laughable

It’s utterly hilarious watching the overwhelmingly white, progressive island area of Martha’s Vineyard delve into full-blown panic at the arrival of roughly 50 illegal immigrants.

I had more people at a barbecue last weekend.

50! Border towns see those numbers roughly every five or ten minutes.

Here’s a video showing upwards of 700 illegal immigrants, most of whom appear to be single adults, crossing the border from Mexico into Eagle Pass, Texas in a single day.

These two large groups totaling 200+ also crossed illegally into Eagle Pass, TX this morning, again, predominantly single adults. Eagle Pass is part of Border Patrol’s Del Rio sector, which had seen approx 400,000 illegal crossings since October. Bigger than pop of New Orleans. pic.twitter.com/eqZ9CL6jZH

The median household income in Eagle Pass is just over $41,000 annually. The median home price is just a shade over $120,000. Compare that to Martha’s Vineyard’s numbers.

Texas Governor Greg Abbott puts illegal immigrants on a bus and takes them to New York City, Chicago, or Washington, D.C., and he’s accused of human trafficking because he’s a “racist.”

DeSantis flies them to Martha’s Vineyard and there are calls to investigate him for “kidnapping” – literally.

What @GovRonDeSantis and @GregAbbott_TX are doing isn’t clever, it’s cruel.

I’m formally requesting the DOJ begin an immediate investigation into these inhumane efforts to use kids as political pawns. pic.twitter.com/x2sBa06nSw

Martha’s Vineyard deports illegal immigrants “off the island” and Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot starts shipping them to locations in the suburbs, and nobody bats an eye.

According to U.S. Customs and Border Protection data, over 1.9 million illegal immigrants have already crossed the southern border into the United States so far this year.

It only became a crisis when they dared to invade a playground for rich, white progressives.
