Florida Governor Ron DeSantis slammed the “opportunistic activists” reportedly helping illegal immigrants flown to Martha’s Vineyard sue him over the move, and produced a copy of the consent form the migrants allegedly signed before they departed for the progressive enclave.
The class action suit was filed in the District of Massachusetts.
It accuses DeSantis along with others of having “designed and executed a premeditated, fraudulent, and illegal scheme centered on exploiting this vulnerability for the sole purpose of advancing their own personal, financial and political interests.”
DeSantis reportedly sent two planes carrying illegal immigrants to the island last week.
The 50 individuals from Central America arriving in the overwhelmingly white, progressive area prompted local authorities to declare an “unexpected urgent humanitarian situation” and the migrants were promptly deported off the island to a military base by the National Guard within 48 hours.
The class action lawsuit names just three of the migrants involved in the flights as plaintiffs.

DeSantis Slams Activists Who Helped Illegal Immigrants Sue Him
DeSantis took aim at the ambulance chasers who somehow managed to have a problem with illegal immigrants being flown to a wealthy progressive retreat but never bothered to sue the federal government for their plight upon crossing the border.
“If these activists spent even a fraction of this time and effort at the border, perhaps some accountability would be brought to the Biden Administration’s reckless border policies that entice illegal immigrants to make dangerous and often lethal journeys through Central America and put their lives in the hands of cartels and Coyotes,” a statement from his office obtained by Fox News reads.
“It is opportunistic that activists would use illegal immigrants for political theater,” it reads.

The lawsuit filed on behalf of the illegal immigrants contends they were told they were being sent to Boston.
It also states that illegal immigrants were enticed with $10 gift cards for McDonald’s which, in Biden’s economy, no longer makes one a Dollar Menunaire.
Yes, it was surely the McDonald’s gift cards that sold them and not the possibility of finding work amongst a sea of million-dollar homes.
“The Doe Defendants then made false promises and false representations that if Plaintiffs and class members were willing to board airplanes to other states, they would receive employment, housing, educational opportunities, and other like assistance upon their arrival,” the lawsuit contends.

Produces Consent Form
DeSantis claims the flights were “voluntary” and those who ended up in Martha’s Vineyard signed release forms to go to Massachusetts.
As such, his office also produced a consent form that was allegedly signed by all before boarding the flights.
“I agree to hold the benefactor or its designed representatives harmless of all liability arising out of or in any way relating to any injuries and damages that may occur during the agreed transport to locations outside of Texas until the final destination in Massachusetts,” the form reads.

DeSantis’ office didn’t hold back in blasting the lawyers for the illegal immigrants behind the effort to sue him.
“The immigrants were homeless, hungry, and abandoned – and these activists didn’t care about them then. Florida’s program gave them a fresh start in a sanctuary state and these individuals opted to take advantage of chartered flights to Massachusetts,” a spokesperson said.
“It was disappointing that Martha’s Vineyard called in the Massachusetts National Guard to bus them away from the island within 48 hours.”
New York congressman Hakeem Jeffries joined a chorus of melodramatic Democrats in accusing DeSantis and Texas governor Greg Abbott of being “human traffickers.”
“They should start behaving like governors and stop behaving like human traffickers.”

The Florida governor responded by pointing out nobody had an issue with it when the Biden administration was flying illegal immigrants throughout the country.
POLL: Do you support sending illegal immigrants to sanctuary cities?
The Political Insider reported in June that the Biden administration had increased migrant flights into New York – happening since at least August of 2021 – with an additional airport being utilized to handle the overflow.
A local reporter shared the video and captioned it with a disclaimer stating “officials say flights are legal under U.S. immigration law.”
A New York Post article cited an Immigration and Customs Enforcement source who claimed flights had been ongoing at airports around the country.

“When Biden is flying these people all over the fruited plain in the middle of the night, I didn’t hear a peep out of those people!” DeSantis fired back at Jeffries.
That’s because the Democrat Party no longer represents values of any kind or has a platform to stand on – they’re simply a group of hyperbolic, opportunistic, overly dramatic political activists.
Now is the time to support and share the sources you trust.
