The Gateway Pundit recently spoke to former Police Officer and Kari Lake-Endorsed Arizona State Senate Nominee Roxana Holzapfel, who is running against Radical Left Democrat incumbent Juan Mendez.
“Missing Mendez” skipped 94% of the 2022 legislative session with State AntiSemite Rep. Athena Salman due to COVID-19 fears, and they may not even show up next legislative session.

For two Arizona lawmakers who normally spend several months each year at the state Capitol, the building is one of the places they’ve seen least this year.
Absent since the start of the legislative session in January, Rep. Athena Salman and Sen. Juan Mendez, both Democrats from Tempe and a married couple, have avoided the Legislature, citing the risk of exposing their newborn daughter to COVID-19.
They continue to collect their $24,000 salary and the daily per diem pay, which amounted to $3,395 as of mid-April. On the rare days when they have ventured to the Capitol, they are entitled to payment for mileage.
When they actually show up to work, Mendez and Salman support destructive democratic policies like defunding the police, rigged elections, illegal immigration, and sexual education for students in Kindergarten and first grade.
Both Mendez and Salman previously helped CHILD RAPIST Tony Navarrete draft a bill requiring all Arizona schools to teach sexual education instruction starting in Kindergarten. The failed attempt by Democrats would require schools to begin sexual education instruction with students as young as four years old.

The Gateway Pundit reported that Superintendent of Public instruction Democrat Kathy Hoffman is facing a lawsuit for grooming children and sending them to sexual chat rooms called “Q chat” for LGBTQ youth to talk about sex, gender, and relationships.
Roxana called this “lewd and lascivious behavior” and told The Gateway Pundit, “you used to put people in jail for things like that.”
These sickos don’t care about the safety of children in the classroom or on the streets.
We reported that more than one million fentanyl pills were seized from a home in Avondale, Arizona, in what police call the “single largest fentanyl seizure in Phoenix police history.”
This deadly drug is pouring into our country in record numbers and killing men, women, and children. The new weapon of mass destruction is now the leading cause of death for Americans aged 18-45 years old, surpassing COVID.
Roxana has vowed to help Kari Lake accomplish her bold agenda on the southern border, which includes designating the Cartels as terrorists and declaring an invasion on day one of her administration.
Conradson: Your current incumbent opponent hasn’t even been showing up for work. Tell us about that.
Holzapfel: That’s correct. In this last legislative session, he missed 94% of the days in session. He missed 93% of the vote and got 100% of taxpayer Senate pay and per diem.
Conradson: I understand he’s been voting against election integrity. He’s been voting for this disgusting curriculum in schools where they’re forcing sexualized material onto children. You’re a former police officer. What are your thoughts on that? As a former law enforcement official, what did you used to do to people like that?
Holzapfel: Well, you used to put people in jail for things like that; lewd and lascivious behavior. Now, it’s okay by the Democrats to do that to children. So it’s reprehensible, and it’s unconscionable, and it’s illegal. Period.
Conradson: We also have lawlessness at our southern border. Drugs, crime, everything, it’s pouring across. What are you going to do to secure our border?
Holzapfel: I was a police officer, and as a police officer, you showed up every day. You had calls you didn’t like, but you were there. You took an oath, you showed up, and you expect nothing less from your lawmakers that you elect. Okay? So bottom line, we need cops on the street. Right now, cops are demoralized, they’re being demeaned, they’re being just brutalized. Nobody wants to be a police officer and wear that uniform, and it’s hard to wear that uniform. I’ve worn it. So we need to support our cops, not defund our cops. My opponent is for defunding the police. We need more cops on the street. More cops on the street puts less crime on the street because it’s just math. You have more presence, you have less burglaries, you have less car thefts, you have less homelessness, you have less drugs. Again, it’s math. So we need more cops, and I’ll do everything I can to help continue the fence around the border, but also get more cops on the street.
Conradson: Are you committed to helping Kari Lake pass her full agenda to secure the southern border?
Holzapfel: Absolutely. Kari Lake has endorsed me. I endorse Kari; she’s awesome for this state. We need her in the state and we need people like myself that will roll up our sleeves and get the job done. Day one. I will show up. Day one to work for everybody in my district and in Arizona. I will not be hiding in my house.
