Breaking: Michigan Assistant Coach Mike Hart Carted Off Field After Suffering Medical Emergency — VIDEO

Michigan Assistant Coach Mike Hart was carted off the field today during the Wolverines’ game with Indiana due to a medical emergency.

During the college football game between Michigan and Indiana, Michigan assistant coach (and former running back) Mike Hart collapsed on the sideline and had to be carted off the field.

Here is video from the game today.

MLive reported:

Tragedy struck the Michigan sideline Saturday afternoon, and it had nothing to do with a player.

Assistant coach Mike Hart collapsed on the sideline during Michigan’s game against Indiana and had to be carted off the field at Memorial Stadium, a scary moment that had players from both teams take a knee.

A Michigan spokesman on the field says Hart was taken to a hospital for further evaluation. Running backs Blake Corum and Donovan Edwards both appeared visibly upset in the moments after.

Hart, the second-year running backs coach for Michigan, looked to be immobile during his ride off the field. His legs remained still, while he tried to move his head.
