Mark your calendars, Canada! On November 1, MAC Cosmetics will debut a new makeup collection inspired by the cultural phenomenon Black Panther, both online and in store. The limited-edition colour launch, which is a collaboration with Marvel Studios, comes ahead of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, the highly-anticipated sequel to the 2018 blockbuster that’s set to hit theatres on November 11. The 18-piece collection (cool fact: many of the colour products were used to create makeup looks in the actual sequel) features incredible saturated hues and includes items like iconic MAC lipstick bullets and an eight-pan eyeshadow palette. “I can’t stress enough the versatility of this collection. I could use this on 10 different models and never run out of ideas,” Fatima Thomas, a senior national artist for MAC, said in a recent interview. “You’ve [got everything from] neutrals, like the Story of Home Lipstick, to several one-colour wonders, like the Thicker Than Water Lipcolour in blood red.”

A retinol fused with squalane is pretty neat, according to Biossance. Just look at their latest nighttime serum launch, which uses the hydrating properties of squalane to reduce dryness and irritation (the feared-yet-expected side effects of time-turning retinal and retinol) and enhance results. Done up with doses of sustainably-sourced saffron, rosemary and vitamin E, your skin will thank you.
