Mary Lawless Lee is the epitome of a modern-day influencer. As the face — and brains — behind the beautifully curated blog Happily Grey, Lee’s keen eye for fashion, travel, fitness, and more started as a fun, personal outlet that garnered a like-minded audience that share the same passions. Today, Lee has an incredibly loyal audience of over 2.6 million across multiple platforms, including almost one million Instagram followers.
Lee has transcended Happily Grey beyond the internet; in fact, the brand has a brick-and-mortar store in Nashville that carries a specially-curated assortment spanning apparel, accessories, kids, and home. She has also expanded into the wellness industry by founding Nēmah, a sustainable, vegan, luxury skincare collection that focuses on creating clean and effective pregnancy and postpartum solutions for moms. And that’s not even all; Lee most recently became an author with Happily Grey: Stories, Souvenirs, and Everyday Wonders from the Life In Between, further proving that her calling is to share to ultimately inspire others.
Yet, before Lee pursued her passion project full-time, she actually spent seven years as a cardiovascular intensive care nurse. Listen to the latest episode ofSecond Life to hear how Lee gained the courage to completely pivot her full-time career and how she continues to evolve as a modern influencer and entrepreneur.
