As someone who worked in retail for the majority of my time in high school and college, I feel as though Black Friday is still a bit of a trigger for me. (Copious caramel macchiatos, Thanksgiving-night shifts that extended to the wee hours of Friday morning, and sale-crazed customers will do that to you.) Suffice to say, when possible, I prefer to get my savings on from the comfort and safety of my laptop versus venturing to my nearest mall. And just like my fellow beauty editors, Shawna and Katie, I prefer to start scouting for the most epic deals ahead of time.

Speaking of all-time favorite hair things, nothing sparks panic like the moment I realize I’m running low on this do-it-all leave-in conditioner from Unite. So I avoid said panic (aka, I hoard the stuff) at all cost! Dermstore’s epic Black Friday and Cyber Monday sale is helping me get a leg up sans cracking my bank account.
The Deal: 20% off Ilia products on Dermstore.com through November 29th. I try a lot of makeup in a year, so it’s pretty telling when I start using almost one brand exclusively. So many lines have just one or two hero items, but I feel like every new launch from Ilia gets better and better. Treat yourself and anyone you love who loves makeup this year.

I love this brand for the thought it puts into its formulas and its commitment to environmental philanthropy. Every product is creamy and nourishing and makes my skin feel like a cloud (seriously). A few recent favorites that I’ll be stocking up on are the Future Skin Foundation, the Jasmine & Lily Healing Mask, and the Radiance Elixir.
The Deal: 25% off sitewide, and spend $50 after discount and get a free Mascara 101. A new favorite of mine, Saie Beauty tops my Scouting for Black Friday list. Its formulas are clean, melt into the skin, and aren’t overly expensive. The Sun Melt and Cream Balm Bronzer are going to be it for me during these winter months.
