KartRider: Drift – How To Level Up Fast

KartRider: Drift is out of the beta with its Preseason and is currently available on PC and mobile devices. The game has already surpassed one million downloads on the Play Store alone, and I have recently reviewed it, giving it a score of 7.4 out of 10. This arcade racing game features plenty of different karts, characters, and other cosmetic items, such as emojis and decals for your vehicle.

Many customizations are available in KartRider: Drift, and new items can be bought from the Shop or unlocked upon completing challenges and earning Licenses. Additional rewards can be obtained by leveling up and unlocking new perks in the Racing Pass, a game pass that works similarly to Fortnite’s Battle Pass.

If you make the best out of every season, you will get plenty of brand-new items for your profile, including stylish karts and drivers. Therefore, let’s see how to level up fast in KartRider: Drift, Nexon’s latest racing game.

How to level up in KartRider: Drift

KartRider: Drift features a progression system that heavily relies on completing selected challenges and obtaining Trophies as a reward. The level cap for this season is currently set at 40, and there are two Racing Passes with different prizes. The Normal Pass is available for all players by default, while the Premium Pass must be unlocked by spending 500 K-COINS. You can check Daily Challenges, and the number of Trophies tied to each trial by visiting the dedicated section from the starting page of the game.

Challenges usually include simple tasks, such as driving or finishing a certain number of races in a specific mode. Premium Challenges are also available to Premium Pass users and are updated weekly. They will give you more trophies than the standard missions.

You can check your rank and the number of trophies you need to level up by visiting the Racing Pass page. You can also increase your level in the same section by buying one or more with K-COINS. Each additional level will cost you 60 K-COINS.

Racing Pass Rewards

You will earn a cosmetic reward when your Racing Pass level grows. This applies to the majority of the Normal Pass levels, as not all include a gift, and for each rank tied to the Premium Pass. You can get new characters, emojis, wheels, license plates, Lucci and K-COINS (the two in-game currencies), and more. All rewards are listed on the Racing Pass page of the game.

Tips for leveling up fast

The easiest way to level up in KartRider: Drift is by playing the game. Check the Challenges available each day and try to complete them before the time ends. The Daily Challenges refresh every 24 hours and are available for all players. If you have unlocked the Premium Pass, you will get additional tasks every week and have the entire season to finish them.

Each tile displays the exact amount of Trophies given to you upon completion, so you need to check the Racing Pass page to know exactly how many are missing for the next level. If you have already earned the Licenses in KartRider: Drift, you can select only the easiest tracks for your races, so you will have higher chances of finishing every match and do not collect any DNF. If a specific challenge asks you to drive races in Squad, Duo, or Solo mode, you can edit this by selecting only the relevant option.

If you unlock the Premium Pass, you will have more Challenges to complete and, therefore, more Trophies to earn. You will definitively level up faster, but remember that the Premium Racing Pass costs 500 K-COINS, which can only be obtained by spending real money, at least for this starting preseason. The Normal Pass also rewards you with K-COINS, 100 for this season. This means you will need more than one Season to earn 500 K-COINS and upgrade to the Premium Pass without actually buying the in-game currency.

However, KartRider: Drift is not a pay-to-win, so you can win every match by relying only on your skills. Customizations are purely cosmetic and do not apply any advantage to the karts. Therefore, if you enjoy playing it, you have all the time to complete only Daily Challenges and still level up in the game.
