Marvel’s Midnight Suns – How To Unlock Deadpool

Marvel’s Midnight Suns’ first DLC introduced a new, fan-favorite character to the rooster, Deadpool. The Merc with a Mouth brings new missions and cosmetics with him, along with a colorful Food Truck that can be placed just outside the Abbey, near the pool.

The Deadpool DLC, called The Good, the Bad, and the Undead, is included with Midnight Suns’ Season Pass. Alternatively, it can also be purchased separately. Once you have this content, you still need to meet some prerequisites in the game to start playing with Wade Wilson. You will find all the information below.

How to get Deadpool in Midnight Suns

Once you get the DLC and install the update, you can play the first Deadpool mission and add him to the Midnight Suns roster. The quest, A Man of Culture, is available at the Mirror Table and is not tied to the main story quest. However, once you bring Wade Wilson to the Abbey, you will have the chance to select him to fight along with you in missions, and you will also be able to talk to him, hang out with him, max his friendship level, and much more, just like the other characters.

If you can see the A Man of Culture quest at the Mirror Table, you still have to complete the Story Mission Spidermaaaans and recruit Spiderman. This is a mandatory prerequisite; otherwise, you will not be able to access the DLC content. Moreover, once Spidey joins the Abbey, you must progress further with the game and convince him to reveal his true identity. Fortunately, this happens quite early in Midnight Suns, so you just need to play a few hours to reach this point before you can select the A Man of Culture quest from the Mirror Table. It won’t take long, even if you have only recently started the game.

How to complete the A Man of Culture quest

You’ll first meet Deadpool during the A Man of Culture quest. Here, you will have the chance to get to know his cards, abilities, and moves. In the first part of the mission, you need to defeat all enemies. Use the battleground’s environmental elements to eliminate more opponents in a single turn. Reinforcements will come, so be prepared for that as well.

During the second part of the quest, you will meet the brand-new Vampyre enemies, which can inflict Bleeding damage. There are plenty of environmental elements to use here, so ensure you take full advantage of them to complete the fight and the mission.

This is a great chance to test Deadpool’s skills in combination with The Hunter and get to know his status effect, En Fuego. When he defeats enemies, he gains stacks of this status effect, increasing the power of his abilities. For example, the damage of a specific attack can be raised, as well as the Heroism that can be generated. However, when the Merc with a Mouth takes damage, he loses an entire En Fuego Stack.

Once the mission is done, Deadpool will follow you to the Abbey, and you will have the chance to talk to him, hang out, and complete his other quests. And if you still need help with Marvel’s Midnight Suns, you can check how to solve the Unknown Grave mystery and the Elemental Rod locations.
