OnePlus Buds Pro 2 Comes With Better Noise Cancellation, Spatial Audio Support, And More

At its Cloud 11 event today, OnePlus announced the OnePlus Pad and already announced OnePlus 11 once again. Aside from that, the company also announced OnePlus Buds Pro 2, a successor to the original Buds Pro with some tweaks under the hood.

OnePlus Buds Pro 2 are priced competitively, offer some excellent features, and have a familiar design language

Now, if you liked the design of the originals, the OnePlus Buds Pro 2 is not all that different, which isn’t an issue – if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. It is safe to say that the new iteration is similar to the previous one. So, what exactly has OnePlus changed in the first place?

Well, the OnePlus Buds Pro 2 does come with some changes. Despite having the same battery in the case, the buds get a larger battery at 60 mAh on each side. The company claims you will get 9 hours of playback time, a two-hour bump from the original offering. In addition, the latency has also reduced significantly, with the company claiming that the new generation buds offer 54ms latency, all thanks to the inclusion of Bluetooth 5.3 LE.

Moving further, the OnePlus Buds Pro 2 will offer better noise cancellation, spatial audio support, and the option to connect the buds to two devices simultaneously. The new buds also support Google’s Fast Pair feature, which is another benefit you are getting here.

Last but not least, OnePlus has made some additional changes as the OnePlus Buds Pro 2 comes with white noise modes, head and cervical spine health detection, along with a feature that lets you create a personalized audio profile, something we have seen on Sony headphones, along with the offerings from other company.

Regarding the pricing and availability, the new buds can be yours starting February 16, later this month. You can get them from oneplus.com, and they will set you back $179. The buds are available in Obsidian Black and Abyss Green.
