It has been almost one year since Elden Ring was released on PC and consoles worldwide, but not much additional content was released for the game. This, however, may be changing in the future, judging from a recent update to the game’s Steam Store page.
As confirmed on Steam Database, the game’s Steam Store base version and the Deluxe Edition packages were updated recently. These packages are essentially the game’s buying options, and they contain information about the entire store page, including text descriptions and images.
What makes this update interesting is that the Elden Ring Steam Store packages were only updated twice so far, at launch and when the Colosseum update dropped, and that the new ones should have store pages, as confirmed by dataminer Sekiro Dubi. As the new packages lead to a private page on the store right now, it is likely they have been updated in preparation for new content that has yet to be announced, possibly DLC.
17 hours ago, four subs in Elden Ring’s steamdb got updated. I cannot see what are the changes, but those subs should have store pages.

As mentioned above, Elden Ring hasn’t received a whole lot of additional content since its release last year. The Colosseum update did add new PvP options, but they are nothing more than a nice diversion, as I highlighted in my piece.
The addition of the Elden Ring Colosseums seems to be a way to get some PvP content out of the way to focus on meatier additions, possibly via paid DLC, but I can’t help but feel that it could have been handled a bit better. In their current state, the PvP modes are something that most players will try out for a few hours before leaving them behind for good. Hopefully, From Software will introduce new features and some rewards down the line that will make these modes a meaningful piece of content like most of the optional content found in the rest of the game.
Elden Ring is now available on PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and Xbox One worldwide. We will keep you updated on additional content coming to the game as soon as possible, so stay tuned for all the latest news.
