Plane Collides With Shuttle Bus At LAX, Hospitalizing Four

The Los Angeles Fire Department on Friday reported an American Airlines plane collided with a shuttle bus at LAX International Airport.

The collision occurred late Friday night and resulted in four passengers being hospitalized.

LAFD reported the collision occurred at very low speeds due to the fact the American Airlines plane was being tugged from a gate to a parking area.

While the plane was being tugged it swiped a shuttle bus which resulted in the bus driver, two passengers on the shuttle bus and the tug driver all being hospitalized.

A worker on board the plane was also injured but refused to go to the hospital.

Here’s the aftermath:

Accidents on the tarmacs have risen in the lasts several months.

In January a JetBlue plane crashed into another parked plane at JFK international airport.

The @FAANews must be beside itself as this is the second incident within a few days.
