Triantafillos Parlapanides, the Superintendent of New Jersey’s Central Regional School District told CBS, “We always address every issue of bullying and on the day of the incident four students were suspended.”

The Superintendent also attacked the deceased teen.

Triantafillos Parlapanides said the teen girl was on drugs and attacked her grieving father, claiming that his previous affair drove the victim’s mother to commit suicide.

The Daily Mail reported:

The heartless superintendent of the school where 14-year-old Adriana Kuch was beaten in the halls two days before killing herself has responded to questions about her death with smears against her grieving family.

In astonishing emails to DailyMail.com, Triantafillos Parlapanides, the Superintendent of New Jersey’s Central Regional School District who is paid $190,000-a-year, said Adriana – who killed herself in her bedroom closet on February 3 two days after being beaten – had been offered counseling ‘for drugs’.

He also made a shocking allegation against the girl’s grieving father Michael, a 22-year Army veteran, claiming he ‘had an affair’ when Adriana was seven that drove her mother to commit suicide, and later ‘moved the woman into the house’.

That ‘woman’ is Adriana’s stepmother, Michael’s wife Sarah, who spoke with DailyMail.com through tears on Friday morning as they prepared Adriana for visitation ahead of her funeral tomorrow.

When asked what services had been provided to her, Parlapanides said: ‘After [Adriana’s] mother’s suicide since her father was having an affiar [sic] at the end of her 6th grade.

‘Her father married the woman he had an affair with and moved her into the house.

‘Her grades and choices declined in 7th and 8th grade.

‘We offered her drug rehab and mental services on 5 occasions but father refused every time.’

He then claimed: ‘We tried helping her several time but mother’s suicide was a major reason she started making poor choices.’

Adriana’s father, Michael Kuch, told CBS if the police had been called right away, the savage teens wouldn’t have posted the video of the beating online.

“If they called the police and did an investigation, those girls would not have posted videos from school,” Kuch told CBS.

Michael Kuch also told CBS News that his daughter had bruises all over her body.

Mr. Kuch wants the entire school board gone and plans to take legal action.

Update: The Superintendent resigned after an emergency school board meeting.

NBC News reported:

The superintendent of the New Jersey school district where a 14-year-old freshman died by suicide 48 hours after video of bullying surfaced online has resigned, a day after funeral services were held for teenager.

Superintendent Dr. Triantafillos Parlapanides stepped down on Saturday, sources tell News 4, following a series of interviews late in the week that caught the attention of the school board. Parlapanides reportedly delivered an email response to a British newspaper in which he talked about Kuch’s alleged behavior and possible drug use — a move that prompted action from the board.

During an emergency zoom meeting Saturday to discuss superintendent’s fate, Parlapanides, who was once a student, teacher and principal at the high school, submitted his resignation. While a board member confirmed his resignation that afternoon, the police chief of Seaside Heights, Tommy Boyd, came to the superintendent’s defense, saying Parlapanides always put the kids first.
