Genshin Impact Version 3.5 Brings New Characters and Story Beats on March 1

Another day, another update comes to Genshin Impact, which adds news characters and expands on the story so far. This time, HoYoverse announced the upcoming release of Version 3.5, dubbed “Windblume’s Breath”. This new version of Genshin Impact will be available on March 1 and will celebrate the Windblume Festival while starting a new adventure deep into the Abyss Order.

The Windblume Festival is a returning event that brings more challenges, rewards, and reunions for people to rejoice with the spirit of love and freedom. This festival will be home of various mini games such as a rhythm game, a maze chase game, and even a photo-touring mode. These modes will all be available for a limited time.

Additionally, two new characters with different combat styles will join the playable roster of Genshin Impact. These characters are the legendary Eremite Dehya, who wields the power of Pyro and Mika, a cartographer who wields Cryo in combat. Cyno will have his rerun in the first half of Version 3.5’s Event Wishes. The second half will feature Mika’s debut and Kamisayo Ayaka and Shenhe’s rerun. Dehya will join the Standard Wish pool after the end of Version 3.6.

You can see more of what’s coming in the trailer below:

As you can see, Version 3.5 will also let players learn more about the new characters, old companions, and, of course, the traveler themselves in Sumeru. Dehya’s Story Quest and Faruzan’s Hangout event will also reveal the hidden past of the two respective characters. Meanwhile, the Traveler will team up with Dainsleif and Kaeya to find out more about their lost sibling and the Abyss Order.

To add a bit more excitement for Version 3.5, Genshin Impact will make a collaboration with Amazon to bring a special reward for players who are subscribed to Amazon Prime Gaming. Between December 2022 and May 2023, Prime members will be able to claim a code which gets them various in-game item bundles every three weeks.

Claiming the rewards for four or more of these bundle refreshes will grant players with the Wings of the Starlit Feast, which will be sent to its in-box shortly after the beginning of June. As you might imagine, this reward is limited to only one set of wings per account.

Genshin Impact is currently available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, PC, Android, and iOS.
