Genshin Impact ver. 3.5 officially launches next week, but, as always, the game’s very active leaks community is already focusing on the updates ahead. Some early details about the game’s big 4.0 update have already leaked, but focusing on the more immediate future, we also have some early information on the contents of update 3.6.
Update 3.6 will be all about the fellas, with two new male characters being added to the Genshin Impact roster. First up we have the 5-star Baizhu, who you can get a look at below.

Genshin developer HoYoverse hasn’t shared much information about Baizhu, but apparently, he wields a catalyst and plant-powered Dendro magic. According to leakers, Baizhu will likely be a support character with healing abilities. Baizhu’s Elemental Burst is said to cast some sort of shield, which can come in a variety of shapes. Word is, Baizhu was originally more powerful, but nerfed be more of a strict support character in beta.
Next up, we have the 4-star Kaveh, who can check out below.

Once again, not a lot of official info on Kaveh, but per leakers he wields claymores and Dendro magic. Kaveh is said to be able to boost Dendro attacks, perhaps acting as a “battery” who can build up Dendro energy that other characters can use.
Thus far, that’s all we know about Baizhu and Kaveh. Of course, take all this with a grain of salt for now. The Genshin leakers rarely miss, but, of course, plans can change. HoYoverse has been taking more of a hardline approach to leakers recently, going so far as to request courts in California subpoena Twitter and other social media sites in order to find the identity of leakers. It remains to be seen whether these efforts will be successful, and as of now, the leaks have definitely not been shut down. That said, they aren’t flowing quite as freely as once did.
As mentioned, Genshin Impact 3.5 launches on March 1. The update will add two characters – the pyro-user Dehya and the Cryo user Mika. You can get more detail on what’s included in the update here.
Genshin Impact can be played on PC, PS4, PS5, and mobile devices. Genshin seasons typically drop ever six weeks, so version 3.6 should arrive on or around April 12.
