Fable Is “Miles Away”, As It Only Entered Full Production Recently – Rumor

It has been some time since the next entry in the Fable series was announced, and it seems like it will be a while longer before we see anything of it, as the game in development by Playground Games entered full production only recently.

During the latest episode of the VGC podcast, Andy Robison, who proved extremely reliable in the past, revealed that Fable is still miles away, as it only entered full production recently. While details are still scarce on how the game will play, Andy Robinson revealed that the term Witcher-like was thrown around, giving us an idea of what to expect out of the game.

Fable isn’t the only Xbox Game Studios title mentioned during the latest episode of the VGC Podcast. Apparently, the next games to release after Starfield, which will launch this year, will be Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II and Obsidian’s Avowed. Perfect Dark and Everwild, much like the next Fable, are nowhere near close.

As mentioned above, it has been some time since Fable got announced, and very little has been said about the next entry in the series. Multiple times over the past few months, it has been suggested that development was proceeding slowly due to a variety of issues, but even if the game is going through troubled development, the team is certainly enthusiastic about it, with the lead writer looking forward to the day when Playground can finally show what it has created.

Fable is currently in development, and a release date has yet to be confirmed. We will keep you updated on the game as soon as more come in on it, so stay tuned for all the latest news.
