Guilty Gear Strive To Launch On Xbox Consoles And Game Pass On March 7th

Guilty Gear Strive, the latest entry in the series by Arc System Works, will release on Xbox Game Pass and Xbox consoles next week, according to the game’s listing on the Microsoft Store.

The popular fighting game will make its debut on Xbox platforms and Game Pass on March 7th worldwide. The new version of the game will come with cross-platform play support with PlayStation and PC, so those getting the game on Xbox will be able to play with everyone else without problems.

Guilty Gear Strive was among the new games announced for Xbox Game Pass during last year’s edition of the Tokyo Game Show, so it’s finally nice to learn precisely when Xbox players will be able to return to the world of the excellent fighting game series by Arc System Works.

Guilty Gear Strive is now available on PC via Steam, PlayStation 5, and PlayStation 4 worldwide. The game launches on Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One, and Xbox Game Pass next week, on March 7th. You can learn more about the game by checking out Kai’s review.

For local play experience, -Strive- is absolutely excellent but trying to venture out into the mission and combo modes and you’ll find nothing there, and trying to match up with friends online will just be an exercise in frustration with the half-baked lobby implementation. For those that want an accessible yet masterful example of combat craftsmanship, Guilty Gear -Strive-  may have quite the long life ahead of it if Arc System Works can fix these day one woes and bring in the roster updates fans have been crying for since Accent Core.
