iPhone 15 Glass Panels Show Up In New Leak For Various Models, Showing Only A Dynamic Island Cutout

All iPhone 15 models launching this year have been reported to switch to the Dynamic Island, with Apple getting rid of the notch completely. Evidence of this transition can be seen in the latest leak, where glass panels of various models show a significantly smaller cutout.

Glass panels also show two units with thinner bezels, which have been one of the rumors surrounding the iPhone 15 lineup

Though Unknownz21 was not the one who uploaded the video below, he does state that the leak originated from China while also crediting the individual who showcased these in the first place. The tipster was responsible for leaking the iPhone 15 design, which featured the Dynamic Island, along with a USB-C port. In his tweet, he does mention that the clip does not come from his own sources, but the appearance of these panels matches the information that he has received in the past.

This information includes the fact that all iPhone 15 series is said to arrive with thinner bezels, but that reduction is said to be more noticeable on the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max. ShrimpApplePro, who has a reliable track record on Twitter, says these glass panels are the real deal, which is a positive development, as it shows that even the less expensive models arriving later this year will ditch the notch.

iPhone 15 series display glass seems to have leaked in China. The alleged story behind this – these were bought by someone who makes screen protectors.

Note – this does not come from my sources, tho it does seem to align with the 15 series images (smaller bezels on the pro) pic.twitter.com/lO3A6QU6d8

As for which model is which, the least expensive iPhone 15 will sport the glass panel on the right, as even from a few inches away, we can tell that the sheet features thicker bezels than the remaining two panels likely belong to the ‘Pro’ lineup. The iPhone 15 Pro renders have been reported about previously when 9to5Mac provided exclusive images and information that the more premium variants will sport thin bezels, larger rear camera bumps, and a USB-C port.

With the Dynamic Island now expected to be consistent across the four models, Apple is rumored to use a Titanium chassis for the higher-end version, while the regular iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus will likely stick with aluminum and glass. Will switching from a notch to a Dynamic Island for the more affordable offerings compel you to upgrade this year? Tell us in the comments.
