New Diablo IV gameplay footage was leaked online, showing more of the upcoming next entry in the series launching on PC and consoles worldwide this June.
The new footage, which can be watched here, provides a new look at some high level gameplay, the game’s interface, and the massive damage numbers that players should expect to see once reaching a high level with their character. The video has some unrelated music on top, so make sure to lower the volume before watching.
March 2023 will be the month when players all over the world will be able to get a first taste of the Diablo IV experience. This coming weekend, all those who pre-ordered the game will be granted early access to the open beta that all will be able to enjoy next week. Progress won’t carry over to the game’s final version, so players will have to start over from scratch when the game launches on June 6th.
Alongside a variety of gameplay improvements that will set it apart from the third entry in the series, Diablo IV will also support modern technologies like ray tracing, which will be coming sometime after launch, and NVIDIA DLSS3, which will be available at launch. DLSS support will make sure players will be able to hit high framerates without compromising visual quality.
Diablo IV launches on PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and Xbox One on June 6th. Despite Microsoft possibly becoming the owner of Activision Blizzard in the near future, there are no plans to release the game on Xbox Game Pass.
