Apple Music Classical Released With Over Five Million Classical Tracks, Simple User Interface, More

Apple released its latest Apple Music Classical app on the App Store that you can download for free. The app features millions of classics right on your iPhone and you can experience the sound with Apple’s Spatial Audio. The app was announced last year but Apple saw fit to release it today. Apple Music Classical now available on the App Store with over five million classical tracks

To be precise, Apple Music Classical will give you access to more than 5 million classics along with exclusive albums. Take note that the app comes bundled with Apple Music and Apple One subscription. Apple Music Classical is more than just a music streaming service. Once you dive into the classics, the app will open doors for expert commentary, classical jargon, instruments, and much more.

At the time of launch, Apple Music Classical featured more than 700 playlists for beginners and more playlists will be added in the future. The app will also provide Hidden Gems highlighting the underrated work of artists. As mentioned earlier, if you already have an Apple Music subscription,  will be available at no additional cost. However, if you have not subscribed to the streaming service, Apple Music Classical is priced at $14.99.

In terms of audio quality, the app comes with lossless audio with 24-bit/192 KHz. This means that you will be able to enjoy the classics with a detailed breakdown of instruments. Furthermore, the remastered audio recordings will make use of the Spatial audio feature. The app will also bring exclusives to the table as the company has collaborated with the London Symphony Orchestra, Carnegie Hall, Chicago Symphony Orchestra, the New York Times Philharmonic, the San Fransisco Symphony, and other institutions.

Since we are talking about the classics, the app features a pretty straightforward user interface, You have the option available to search music by the catalog number, composer, and additional details. As for compatibility, the app will be available on all iPhone and iPad models running iOS 15.4 and newer versions, If you are interested in giving the classical touch a swing, you can download the Apple Music Classical app from the App Store. Additionally, Apple also stated that it will bring the app to Android but no exact details were shared at this point.
