The Hollywood star Jane Fonda, who infamously earned herself the nickname Hanoi Jane during the Vietnam War, recently launched an attack on “white men” that can only be described as racist.
Am I the only one who remembers that Jane Fonda threatened to murder pro-life politicians just about a month ago?
She then said that we should arrest and jail every white man to help combat climate change.

Fonda Sounds Off
“We’ve got about seven, eight years to cut ourselves in half of what we use of fossil fuels, and unfortunately, the people that have the least responsibility for it are hit the hardest — Global South, people on islands, poor people of color,” Fonda, 85, said during an appearance at the Cannes Film Festival last month. “It is a tragedy that we have to absolutely stop. We have to arrest and jail those men — they’re all men [behind this].”
Fonda went on to blame racism for climate change, saying that “white men” are the culprits.
“It’s good for us all to realize, there would be no climate crisis if there was no racism. There would be no climate crisis if there was no patriarchy. A mindset that sees things in a hierarchical way,” she claimed, according to The New York Post. “White men are the things that matter and then everything else [is] at the bottom.”
Not stopping there, Fonda proceeded to call on her woke fans to rally around environmental justice.
“It’s important because we have to get out of the silos — feminists over here, environmentalists over here. That’s what I learned when I started being an activist around the Vietnam War,” she said. “The more you go down any issue, whatever it is, you realize that it’s all connected. And if we solve the climate crisis, and we haven’t solved those other things, we’re gonna be in trouble.”

Fonda’s Previous Comments
Earlier this year, Fonda blamed climate change on “racism” while promoting her movie 80 For Brady.
“Well, you know, you can take anything… sexism, racism, misogyny, homophobia… whatever… the war,” said Fonda, 85, according to Market Watch. “And if you really get into it, and study it and learn about it and the history of it and everything’s connected. There’d be no climate crisis if it wasn’t for racism.”
When her 91 year-old co-star Rita Moreno asked her to clarify what she meant by this, Fonda went even further into her radicalism.
“Where would they put the s**t? Where would they put the poison and the pollution?” she asked. “They’re not gonna put it in Bel Air.”
“They’ve got to find some place where poor people or indigenous people or people of color are living,” she continued. “Put it there. They can’t fight back. And that’s why a big part of the climate movement now has to do with climate justice.”

Fonda Discusses Vietnam
In this same interview, Fonda talked about what let her to becoming a social justice activist in the first place.
“For me, it was learning about the Vietnam War,” Fonda said, according to Fox News. “And when I really understood what that was about, I couldn’t not do anything except try to join the movement to stop it.”
In case you’re too young to remember, ‘Hanoi Jane Fonda’ once visited POW’s while in Vietnam. These captured Americans secreted notes to her to give to their families. Then, in front of all of them, she turned around and handed the notes to their captors.

It should be noted that during the Vietnam War, Fonda infamously earned herself the nickname “Hanoi Jane” after she was caught on camera gleefully posing on top of an anti-aircraft gun while visiting North Vietnam in 1972. Her latest comments about climate change just go to show that not much has changed in the last fifty years when it comes to Fonda!
