It’s been seven years since the former San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick last played in the NFL, but he claims that he’s eager to make a comeback.

Kaepernick Claims He Wants Back In With NFL
Daily Mail reported that in a new interview, Kaepernick claimed that he still works out “five to six days each week” so that he can stay ready for a call from an NFL team, should it ever come.
“I’m going to keep pushing,” said Kaepernick, 35. “I’m going to keep fighting for it because I know I can step on the field and play.”
“Every workout, every opportunity I’ve had to show that, the feedback has always been positive,” he added. “Everything from, ‘He’s still an elite player,’ to ‘The workout was great; it was better than expected.’”
Kaepernick went on to talk about the workout that he had with the Las Vegas Raiders in May of last year.
“When I had my workout with the Raiders last year, even training with guys, there’s a decent amount of people who may have forgotten what I was capable of doing on the field, so any chance to be able to remind people of what I can do out there, I look forward to and embrace, and I look forward to the day that I get to step on the field and show people what I can do,” he said.
Free agent quarterback Colin Kaepernick revealed why the Las Vegas #Raiders passed on him after his 2022 workout:

Raiders Pass On Kaepernick
The Raiders ultimately decided to pass on Kaepernick, entering last season with a quarterback room of Derek Carr, Jarrett Stidham, and Chase Garbers.
“I’ve heard a lot of excuses over the years, but most of the time it ends up, ‘Oh, we’re going to see how the guys that we have do,’” Kaepernick complained. “With the Raiders’ situation last year, that was Stidham and Nick Mullens, which to me, you just compare résumés and capabilities, on top of the workout and the feedback, it’s like, ‘O.K., cool.’”
“Obviously, there’s something else within this decision. To me, that’s typically what it ends up being, or has been for the last seven years,” he alleged. “So, I just want the opportunity to come in, show what I can do on the field. Judge me based upon that, not the political bias that you have.”
Kaepernick became a household name back in 2016 for taking a knee during the national anthem before his games as a quarterback for the San Francisco 49ers. Though he claimed that he was doing this to protest against racial inequality in America, many saw this move as a clear sign of disrespect to the American flag and those who have fought and died for it.
Kaepernick has not played in the NFL since that 2016 season, but in the years that have followed, he’s amassed a net worth of $40 million by going full woke and bashing America seemingly every chance he gets.

Kaepernick Bashes NFL
When asked in a recent interview if the NFL had “changed for the better,” Kaepernick responded by saying that he had not “seen any substantial change.”
“I think there is a lot of work to do on that front. Obviously, not playing and being out of the NFL for six years is an indictment on where they are currently at,” Kaepernick said. “So I wouldn’t put them at the forefront of goodwill and best of intentions in how they operate.”

Many would argue that Kaepernick does not actually have any interest in returning to the NFL, and instead wants to keep cashing in on being a professional victim. Only time will tell if Kaepernick ever gets the NFL comeback that he claims to desire so desperately.
