Liberal Favorite Lizzo Hit With More Disturbing Sexual Harassment Claims From Dancers

The woke singer Lizzo, who has become a favorite of the left for her message about body positivity in recent years, has found herself in hot water over the past few weeks after her backup dancers accused her of weight shaming and sexual harassment at work.

Now, things have gotten even worse for Lizzo, as the 35 year-old plus-sized songstress has been hit with more allegations of creating a “sexually charged environment” from at least six more people who toured with her.

Claims Against Lizzo

Ron Zambrano, an attorney representing Lizzo’s original three backup dancer accusers in their lawsuit against the singer, told NBC News that his firm is looking into the new allegations.

“Some of the claims we are reviewing may be actionable, but it is too soon to say,” he said.

The original allegations against Lizzo were made by her former backup dancers Arianna Davis, Crystal Williams and Noelle Rodriguez.

“I know it’s alarming to hear that Lizzo, a plus-size woman who preaches body positivity, would be fat-phobic, essentially,” Davis told ABC News last week. “But I want to challenge people to understand that hurt people hurt people.”

Rodriguez claimed that Lizzo threatened her when she said she wanted to quit because she felt “unsafe” and “disrespected.”

“She basically started to ball up her fists and crack her knuckles, and she was like ‘You’re so effin lucky right now’ as she’s like inching her way towards me,” Rodriguez alleged, adding that Lizzo’s best friend had to physically restrain the singer.

Sex Show In Amsterdam

Davis began to become emotional as she recalled Lizzo allegedly forcing her to touch a nude performer during a sex show in Amsterdam.

“She started a chant, after I said ‘no’ multiple times,’ Davis said, explaining how Lizzo then chanted her name. “I briefly touched the performer and withdrew my hands, and you know, everyone kind of burst into laughter ’cause me of all people they thought it was funny that I was touching this performer.”

“I kind of laugh it off,” she added as her voice cracked. “Sorry, I’m a little emotional about it. I even remember making jokes about it because I just was trying to get the attention away from me.”

Davis and Williams were eventually fired, and Rodriguez then quit, saying that she did so because of how her two friends were treated. Lizzo’s former creative director Quinn Whitney Wilson and dancer Courtney Hollinquest have since claimed that they experienced similar mistreatment at the hands of the singer.

Lizzo Responds

Lizzo has denied all of the allegations made against her.

“These last few days have been gut wrenchingly difficult and overwhelmingly disappointing,” Lizzo said in a statement, according to Daily Mail. “My work ethic, morals and respectfulness have been questioned. My character has been criticized. Usually I choose not to respond to false allegations but these are as unbelievable as they sound and too outrageous to not be addressed.”

Lizzo went on to describe her accusers as “former employees who have already publicly admitted that they were told their behavior on tour was inappropriate and unprofessional.”

“I am not here to be looked at as a victim, but I also know that I am not the villain that people and the media have portrayed me to be these last few days,” the “Good As Hell” singer later added. “I am very open with my sexuality and expressing myself but I cannot accept or allow people to use that openness to make me out to be something I am not.”

“There is nothing I take more seriously than the respect we deserve as women in the world. I know what it feels like to be body shamed on a daily basis and would absolutely never criticize or terminate an employee because of their weight,” Lizzo concluded. “I’m hurt but I will not let the good work I’ve done in the world be overshadowed by this. I want to thank everyone who has reached out in support to lift me up during this difficult time.”

Since the lawsuit against Lizzo was filed, she has lost over 120,000 followers on Instagram

Prior to these claims, Lizzo was a darling of the left, which frequently praised her for her beauty despite her large size. In the end, these allegations against Lizzo should force liberals to think twice about who they put up on a pedestal in this way.
