Upside Down World: Ilhan Omar Flattens GOP Rep Who Demanded ‘Bigoted’ Jesus Tweet Be Deleted

Conservatives on social media were shocked to find themselves in agreement with Democrat congresswoman Ilhan Omar (D-MN) after she schooled GOP lawmaker Max Miller (R-OH) on religious freedom.

Miller, a former Donald Trump campaign and White House aide, temporarily lost his mind by telling a political activist that her message about Jesus was “bigoted.”

What was the message?

“There’s no hope for any of us outside of having faith in Jesus Christ alone,” wrote Lizzie Marbach, herself a former Trump campaign aide.

Marbach, clearly a very religious individual whose Twitter/X bio describes her as “saved by grace through faith in Jesus,” drew Miller’s ire with the tweet, and he responded in a somewhat shocking manner.

“This is one of the most bigoted tweets I have ever seen,” he reacted. “Delete it, Lizzie. Religious freedom in the United States applies to every religion. You have gone too far.”

Delete it, Lizzie.

Religious freedom in the United States applies to every religion.

You have gone too far. https://t.co/QCx8oAT1Kr

Miller Offended By ‘Jesus’ Tweet

Good Lord. (Am I still allowed to say that, Max?)

With everything appearing on Twitter/X over the years, this is “one of the most bigoted tweets” this guy has ever seen. Really?

It’s hard to describe just how badly Miller fumbled the concept of religious freedom with his reply. Telling somebody professing their personal faith that they are a bigot for doing so is something you’d expect from the left.

Not to mention demanding Marbach delete her tweet because he was personally offended.

Miller’s take was so far off course that Representative Omar of all people had to point out just how ignorant it was.

“No! Stating the core beliefs or principles of your faith isn’t bigoted as Lizzie did, its religious freedom and no one should be scolded for that,” she fired back. “It’s also wrong to speak about religious freedom while simultaneously harassing people who freely express their beliefs.”

Conservatives Side With Omar

Miller’s outrage-laden tweet and Omar’s response had conservative pundits on X wondering if they’d been transported to another dimension.

“Can’t believe I agree with IIhan about something,” wrote commentator Tabitha Bliss before adding a “thumbs up” emoji and a “thank you.”

“Holy crap. I just agreed with Ilhan Omar,” wrote conservative commentator Evan Kilgore.

Holy crap.

I just agreed with Ilhan Omar.

“Congresswoman, I agree with nearly nothing you say or do,” political strategist Joey Meugniot chimed in. “However, it’s nice to be able to agree and support you on this. You are absolutely correct, something I’d never thought I’d say.”

However, it’s nice to be able to agree and support you on this.

You are absolutely correct, something I’d never thought I’d say.

“I can’t believe I’m agreeing with you,” added one individual with an X handle of “Mr. Republican.” “But this was explained perfectly.”

To his credit, Miller took the “L” and offered a sincere apology to Marbach.

“I posted something earlier that conveyed a message I did not intend,” he tweeted. “I will not try to hide my mistake or run from it. I sincerely apologize to Lizzie and to everyone who read my post.”

Apology accepted.

Though, we’d sure love to know what he “intended” to say.
