Musk Calls For Truce in Ukraine Following Revelation He May Have Helped Prevent A Nuclear Strike By Russia

X chief Elon Musk is calling for a truce between Russia and Ukraine after revealing that he refused a request by Ukrainian officials to provide Starlink satellite communications access as a means to carry out an attack on the Russian naval fleet off the coast of Crimea.

The incident was initially detailed in excerpts from Walter Isaacson’s new biography titled “Elon Musk.”

Isaacson revealed that Ukraine was planning a kamikaze-style drone attack using Starlink to guide the explosive-laden devices to their intended targets.

The author claimed engineers were ordered to “turn off coverage within 100 kilometers of the Crimean coast” and the drones “lost connectivity and washed ashore harmlessly.”

Musk disputed actively shutting down the network in a posting on X asking, “ELON PREVENTS NUCLEAR WAR?” but instead indicated that he simply refused a request to turn the network on in that area.

ELON PREVENTS NUCLEAR WAR?

Elon Musk covertly instructed his engineers to deactivate Starlink’s satellite communications network during a MAJOR Ukrainian offensive.

This action was taken to intentionally thwart a surprise attack by Ukraine against the Russian naval fleet.

“The Starlink regions in question were not activated. SpaceX did not deactivate anything,” Musk replied.

In another X post, he fleshed out details a bit and denied aspects of media reporting on the matter.

“There was an emergency request from government authorities to activate Starlink all the way to Sevastopol. The obvious intent being to sink most of the Russian fleet at anchor,” he said.

“If I had agreed to their request, then SpaceX would be explicitly complicit in a major act of war and conflict escalation,” he added.

Did Musk Prevent Nuclear Strike Against Ukraine?

Musk’s decision not to aid Ukraine in an overt act of war as a civilian was solidified by what CNN describes as “an acute fear that Russia would respond to a Ukrainian attack on Crimea with nuclear weapons.”

That fear was not unfounded.

Isaacson’s book points out that Musk spoke to the Russian ambassador to the United States who “explicitly told him that a Ukrainian attack on Crimea would lead to a nuclear response.”

Encrypted texts published by the Washington Post reveal Musk repeatedly encouraged Mykhailo Fedorov, Ukraine’s deputy prime minister, to “seek peace” and avoid World War III.

Musk, according to the book, envisioned Starlink as being used “so people can watch Netflix and chill and get online for school and do good peaceful things, not drone strikes.”

On Thursday, he again called for peace from his X platform, which was formerly known as Twitter.

Former Russian President Praises Elon Musk As ‘Last Adequate Mind In North America’

Former Russian President and current deputy secretary of the Kremlin’s powerful Security Council Dmitry Medvedev pointed out Musk’s concerns over “a retaliatory nuclear strike.”

And his praise for not turning on Starlink seems to hint that Musk did indeed avert escalating the situation.

In a posting on X, Medvedev delivered an incredible assessment of Musk going against the pro-war crowd in the United States.

“If what Isaacson has written in his book is true, then it looks like Musk is the last adequate mind in North America,” he wrote. “Or, at the very least, in gender-neutral America, he is the one with the balls.”

Walter Isaacson, an author and journalist, in his biography of @elonmusk writes that last year the businessman shut down Starlink to prevent Ukraine’s attack on Russia’s Navy stationed in Crimea.

He was concerned about a retaliatory nuclear strike.

We were under the impression that under President Joe Biden, other nations would once again respect America.

Instead, Russia points and laughs at the “gender-neutral” administration with no balls.
