H&M’s New Autumn Collection Looks So Expensive—31 Buys That Will Sell Out First

When it comes to affordable high street destinations, it’s impossible to overlook H&M. The brand is known for its classic basics as well as trend-led items, which, season after season, manage to capture the attention of influencers, editors and fashion devotees all over the world.

Right now is no different, as the brand has recently released its autumn edit—and it’s genuinely sent our editors into a frenzy with how good it is. Between the expensive-looking tailoring, wool coats that could easily pass for designer styles and practical everyday knitwear that will elevate your existing wardrobes well into the depths of colder weather, the collection covers everything you need for the perfect autumn capsule.

While the brand’s just-in section can often be overwhelming, filled with an abundance of stock regularly, I’ve done the hard work by scrolling through all of the new product for you. Working as an editor at Who What Wear makes me somewhat of an expert at pinpointing the very best items in the high street collections, and I have a particular talent for spotting which styles will sell out first (even if I do say so myself). After all, myself and my fellow editors have all learnt the hard way before when hesitating on some of H&M’s new-in key buys (especially their gorgeous premium collection pieces that tend to fly), only to be disappointed by a total sell out when returning to make our purchases.  From blazers to cardigans, trousers to shirts, keep scrolling for my bumper edit of the 27 expensive-looking H&M items I’m loving for right now, autumn, and beyond.

The sleekest blazer around.

I didn’t know I needed this outfit, until now.

Wide-leg trousers are so easy to wear and yet still so chic.

An investment, but worth it.

These are about to be the cult high street jeans of the season, trust me.

This

This landed recently and I’m already in love.

I’ve just bought this in both colours.

A wardrobe staple.

Dark denim jeans always look so polished.

This could easily pass for designer.

You won’t regret adding these affordable shoes to your rotation.

You’ll wear a great pair of (faux) leather trousers as much as your trusty jeans.

The quality of this in real life feels really impressive.

A timeless classic.

Such a gorgeous colour.

This designer-looking knit is just beautiful. I’ll wear mine with leather trousers and heeled boots.

Like most H&M gems, this looks so much more expensive than it is.

I love this co-ord as an alternative to jeans and a T-shirt.

This is stunning, but is quite oversized so size down.

Particularly useful if you’re petite.

An bouclé jack is a perfect transitional style.

An essential.

Added to basket.

The collars and cuffs! So chic.

Knit dresses are autumn/winter classics.

Such pretty detailing.

Throw this on to make any outfit look chic.

I love the French-girl stripes.

Sorry, but how is this high street?

Bound to sell out in no time.
