It was a family affair as Madonna kicked off her Celebration tour on Saturday, with five of her six children joining her on stage at different points of the concert.
But it was 11-year-old Estere who stole the show, as footage of her voguing up the stage towards her mother and older sister Lourdes quickly spread across social media.

Robert Irwin celebrates dad’s turtle
The children of Steve Irwin are well known for continuing his conservation efforts, but a recent milestone was more personal than usual.
Robert Irwin revealed an Irwin’s Turtle (discovered by Steve Irwin and his father, Bob) has successfully hatched at Australia Zoo – the first time the rare species has hatched in captivity.
Wow. This was a special moment. I think Dad would be pretty proud that we’ve become the first to successfully breed the turtle that he discovered. A rare, and unique species under threat in the wild has just been given a second chance.

Taylor Swift fans take over cinemas
While tickets for her Eras tour quickly sold out, fans of Taylor Swift (known as Swifties) got another chance to see her in concert with the cinematic release of her concert film, Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour.
Many Swifties turned the film into even more of a concert experience by getting up to sing and dance along with the footage, just as they would at a live show.

Birthday bash for Danish prince
European royals turned out in droves to celebrate the 18th birthday of Denmark’s Prince Christian.
The prince was joined by his family, including his mother, Australian-born Crown Princess Mary, for an official banquet, followed by a much more lively afterparty.

Sydney Opera House turns 50
The design for the Sydney Opera House was widely ridiculed before it was built, causing its Danish architect Jørn Utzon to leave Australia and never return. Today, it is regarded as one of the country’s most iconic buildings and a top tourist attraction.
In celebration of its 50th anniversary, Tim Minchin led a gaggle of stars including Jimmy Barnes, Courtney Act and Ziggy Ramo, in a tongue-in-cheek music video poking fun at the Sydney Opera House’s initial negative reception, and highlighting the Australian arts community.
Doctor Who theme song revealed
Sex Education star Ncuti Gatwa is set to debut as the 15th Doctor Who around Christmas this year, after the show airs three special episodes in November starring David Tennant’s 14th Doctor to coincide with its 60th anniversary.
The BBC gave fans a taste at the updated theme song that will feature during Gatwa’s tenure as the Doctor.

Melbourne Metro sneak peak
Reportedly set to open in September 2024, the $12 billion dollar project was shown on social media this week, giving Melbourne commuters insight into the route that promises to “untangle the City Loop”.
Bear safety
With bear sightings becoming more common during Japan’s autumn months before the animals’ winter hibernation, the country’s national broadcaster released an instructional video on what to do if you come across a bear.
While the information could be life-saving, the cute choice of bear used in the video’s demonstrations has earned it thousands of shares on X.

Sloth family reunion
A female sloth was filmed breaking the species’ slow-moving stereotype as she raced down a tree – taking an hour – to reunite with her baby, which had been found crying alone at Costa Rica’s Manzanillo National Park.
After the baby sloth was checked over by a vet, rescuers took it back to the park and played its cries on a speaker until they found its mother reacting to the sound.
We are so excited to announce that we were able to reunite this mother and baby 3-fingered sloths (Bradypus variegatus).🦥 On October 10, we received a call from Manzanillo National Park letting us know that they found a baby crying on the floor. We went to his rescue and brought him for a check-up with the vet. Fortunately, he was healthy and didn’t have any injuries. The next day, our team went back to the park with the baby and played his cry on a speaker near the place where he was found. After a while, we spotted a sloth reacting to the sound a few meters away. It took around an hour to make the mom come down, but, finally, she did it.
