Chilling New Alec Baldwin ‘Rust’ Footage Surfaces – ‘I’m Going To Shoot’

Some chilling new footage has just been released from the set of the Alec Baldwin movie Rust, where a gun the actor was holding went off in October of 2021, killing cinematographer Halyna Hutchins and injuring director Joel Souza. In this new footage, Baldwin can be seen firing a prop gun and telling crew members to move out of the way of the path of the weapon.

This comes as prosecutors are considering re-charging Baldwin for Hutchins’ death.

New ‘Rust’ Footage Comes Out

Fox News reported that the footage was filmed before Hutchins was killed on October 15, 2021.

“Now wait a second. I’m going to shoot right,” Baldwin said. “Do you mind going to the other side of the camera? I don’t want to shoot toward you.”

Baldwin later seemed worried about the safety of whoever was holding the camera, saying, “I don’t know why you’re going up hills and all this other — you’re going to break your f—ing neck.”

At another point in the clip, an unknown woman can be heard saying, “Everyone doesn’t need to be right here in the path of the gun. Could you please move?”

Baldwin has yet to comment publicly on the footage. Check out the video for yourself below.

Baldwin Facing Potential Charges

Last month, New Mexico prosecutors revealed that they are preparing to recharge Baldwin with involuntary manslaughter over the 2021 death of Hutchins, who was killed in October of 2021 when a gun the actor was holding went off on the set of Rust.

Though prosecutors dropped all charges against Baldwin earlier this year, “new facts” have come to light leading them to conclude that the gun actually was not modified in the way that Baldwin had previously claimed.

“After extensive investigation over the past several months, additional facts have come to light that we believe show Mr. Baldwin has criminal culpability in the death of Halyna Hutchins and the shooting of Joel Souza,” special prosecutors Kari Morrissey and Jason Lewis said in a statement at the time.

“We believe the appropriate course of action is to permit a panel of New Mexico citizens to determine from here whether Mr. Baldwin should be held over for criminal trial,” they added.

Baldwin Fires Back

Baldwin fired back through his lawyers, who slammed the move as “misguided.”

“It is unfortunate that a terrible tragedy has been turned into this misguided prosecution,” Baldwin’s attorney Luke Nikas said. “We will answer any charges in court.”

Despite all of this, Baldwin finished filming Rust with the rest of his cast and crew back in May.

“It’s been a long and difficult road. But we reach the end of the trail today. Congratulations to Joel, Bianca and the entire cast and crew,” Baldwin said at the time, referring to Souza, the original director of Rust, and to Bianca Cline, the new cinematographer.

“Nothing less than a miracle,” he continued.

Baldwin has been known for years not only for his violent temper, but also for his radically liberal political views as well as his hatred for anyone who dares to be conservative. Many would love to see him behind bars for Hutchins’ death, as it would show that even the liberal elites of Hollywood are not above the law.
