You shouldn’t have to compromise comfort to get where you’re going — just ask Naomi Campbell. This is the ethos of her newly released travel capsule collection with BOSS, a line that redefines power dressing through an assortment of pieces for women with somewhere to be.
Created in partnership with the iconic globetrotting model, the Naomi x BOSS capsule embodies sophistication, confidence and fluid functionality. And on February 22, a select group of Toronto fashion enthusiasts got to see what that means in real life.
Gathered at the HUGO BOSS store inside Yorkdale Shopping Centre, guests listened to an inspiring conversation between FASHION editor-in-chief Bernadette Morra and three special guests: Canadian model Lana Ogilvie as well as activist-entrepreneur sister duo Justice and Nia Faith.

Coordinating in a colour palette of grey, black and white, the four women sat swathed in different ensembles from the Naomi x BOSS collection. Looking both comfortable and capable, they embarked on a discussion spanning pay disparity, self-worth and career comparisons. A recurring theme was about overcoming life’s obstacles while staying true to yourself. In other words, learning to #BeYourOwnBOSS. No topic is more fitting to celebrate the Naomi x BOSS collab.

After all, as Campbell told FASHION, the collection is about much more than aesthetics. Women on the go have enough to deal with — they shouldn’t have to stress about getting dressed. Through crease-free features, antibacterial properties and a special print that promises to promote a sense of Zen, the clothes in this collection act as a welcome escape amid changing routines.

The BOSS event, hosted in partnership with FASHION and The Drop, our destination for shopping the latest product launches the moment they’re released, had an air of both excitement and sartorial ease. Models toured the space sporting looks from the line, while guests got a feel for the quality of the in-store pieces on shelves.
Appropriately, the best-dressed attendees came in outfits that reflected their effortless individuality. From oversized blazers and wide-leg tailored trousers to statement cross-body bags, below are the standout looks of the Naomi x BOSS capsule celebration.
