A new version of the Max Payne RTX Remix path tracing mod demo is now available for download, introducing further visual improvements. Version 0.5, which can be downloaded from here, removes the normal maps from the main character model’s head, face, arms, and hands, as well as from surfaces to make them flat, improving how they look with path tracing. Additionally, the new version reworks lighting throughout to make everything brighter and introduces some experimental physical lighting to muzzle flashes and a few more changes over the previous version.
