The first Dying Light 2 DLC, Bloody Ties, launched in October 2022. Originally, Techland had promised two story DLCs included with the Ultimate Edition, and the second DLC was supposed to be far larger than Bloody Ties. It turns out it became so large that it’s now its own standalone game called The Beast.
