UK PM Keir Starmer Lectures China’s Xi on Human Rights After the UK Jails Man for 20 Months in August for Posting Hateful Facebook Posts

UK Socialist Leader Keir Starmer Lectures China on Human Rights Violations at G20.

The UK Labour Leader Keir Starmer lectured China on human rights Monday during their private meeting at the G20 in Brazil.

Prime Minister Starmer: I’m very pleased that my Foreign Secretary and Foreign Minister Wang met recently and discussed respective concerns, including human rights and parliamentary sanctions, Taiwan, South China Sea, and our shared interest in Hong Kong.

We are concerned by reports of Jimmy Lai’s deterioration, health in prison. You raised the Chinese Embassy building in London when we spoke on the telephone, and we have since taken action by calling in that application. Now we have to follow the legal process and timeline.

Media tycoon Jimmy Lai from Hong Kong who supported the democracy protesters in the former British colony, was jailed by the Chinese Communist regime. He turned 76 in prison recently. Jimmy has been jailed since 2020 on several charges linked the democracy protests in Hong Kong.

Prime Minister Starmer forgot to mention that the UK jailed a 28-year-old man from Leeds in August for 20 months. Jordan Parlour, was sent to prison for posting on Facebook and urging his friends to target a building housing illegal migrants during protests against mass migration into the country.

Riots broke out in London in July after three little girls were stabbed to death at a party in Southport.

It’s getting more difficult by the day for the Western elites to lecture on human rights when they continue to crack down on free speech in their own countries.
