The Galaxy XCover7 is one of the few remaining Samsung phones with a removable battery – it’s a rugged phone that has found its niche. Safety Korea certified the battery for its successor, which will be called the “Samsung Galaxy XCover8 Pro,” and provided a photo of it plus some details
The battery, EB-BG766GBY, has 4,265mAh rated and 4,350mAh typical capacity. That’s 16.88Wh. For comparison, the XCover7 has a smaller 4,050mAh battery (typical capacity, 15.59Wh). The battery is manufactured by Amperex Technology Limited (ATL).
