Social media users have apparently identified the teenage suspect in the shooting at a Wisconsin Christian school Monday as a 17-year-old female student.
The AP confirmed the shooter was a 17-year-old female student.
As The Gateway Pundit reported earlier, at least three are dead, including the teenage shooter, after a shooting at the Abundant Life Christian School, which injured six others.
The City of Madison released the following Statement Monday:
The City of Madison is confirming an active shooter incident at Abundant Life Christian School. At this time, there is no danger to the community and we are in the process of supporting victims and their families. Multiple victims have been transported to area hospitals. Parents seeking to reunite with their children should go to the reunification center at the SSM Urgent Health Clinic at 1821 S. Stoughton Rd. Members of the general public are asked to steer clear of the area. There will be an additional public briefing at 2:30pm Central time at Fire Station 14 (3201 Dairy Dr, Madison).
Thank you to all the law enforcement, fire, medical staff and other emergency personnel who have responded so quickly and professionally to this tragic event.
Earlier, Madison Police Chief Shon Barnes shared an update during a press conference but refused to give any details about the suspect. Barnes confirmed that three were killed, including one teacher, one student, and the shooter, and six were injured, with two in critical condition.
