Irish High Court Orders Immediate Release of Enoch Burke, Jailed Since September for Refusing To Give in to ‘Trans’ Agenda

Enoch Burke is a devout Christian teacher who formerly taught at Wilson’s Hospital School in Co. Westmeath, Ireland.

In 2022, The Gateway Pundit reported that Burke was put on paid administrative for refusing to address a trans student as “they.”

Despite an order barring him from the campus, Burke continued to show up on campus and was arrested and jailed for contempt of court and spent three months in Dublin’s Mountjoy Prison.

Ultimately, the school board dismissed Burke.

Despite the firing, Burke continued to show up to the school, and in September 2023, he was arrested again.

At the start of the 2024 school year, Burke was arrested for a third time and taken into custody by Ireland’s Garda (police force).

Now, days before Christmas, the Irish High Court has ordered Burke’s immediate release.

AN X account run on Burke’s behalf shared:

“Judge David Nolan announced in court this morning that if anyone spoke in the court he would permanently ban them from all future hearings. The Supreme Court has ruled that this is illegal. Enoch Burke immediately jumped to his feet and objected to this sinister and unlawful direction. Judge Nolan refused to retract the statement, later denying he had even made it. All of this is available on the court Digital Audio Recording (DAR).”

“On the national lunchtime television news (RTÉ), reporter Orla O’Donnell did not mention one word regarding the above events. The public deserve to know the full truth. By withholding this, Orla O’Donnell and RTÉ are utterly failing in their duty and protecting this judge in his unlawful behaviour.”

Burke has received strong support from the community, including students from Wilson’s.
