NVIDIA’s taking center stage at CES 2025 in Las Vegas, kicking off what could be another blockbuster year for the chip powerhouse. After a monumental 2024 — fueled by deals with OpenAI and Meta that solidified its role as the backbone of the AI boom — NVIDIA is ready to set the tone for what’s next. And it all starts at CES.
While the trade show officially opens on Jan. 7, NVIDIA is making an early splash with a keynote on Jan. 6, led by its charismatic founder and CEO, Jensen Huang. Here’s what to expect and how you can tune in to watch from home.
What to Expect at NVIDIA CES 2025 Keynote
The most anticipated reveal from NVIDIA at CES 2025 is widely expected to be the RTX 5000 series GPU. Outside of CES’ automotive showcases, this could be the headlining tech announcement of the event. We already got a glimpse of the RTX 5000’s potential earlier this month during the Game Awards, where CD Projekt RED debuted the cinematic trailer for The Witcher IV.
Eagle-eyed viewers may have noticed a telling detail at the bottom of the screen during the trailer: “pre-rendered in Unreal Engine 5 on an unannounced RTX GPU.”
Beyond the GPU buzz, NVIDIA’s blog hints at announcements that will focus on advancements in AI and robotics
