Johnathan Van Ness, star of “Queer Eye,” wore a long emerald Christian Siriano gown to the Golden Globe Awards on Sunday night.

Van Ness was in full makeup, including false lashes, but left his beard and chest hair on display.

The actor reportedly identifies as “nonbinary” and uses “they/he/she” pronouns.

The bizarre look rapidly went viral on social media, with many commentators noting that he was wearing a gown similar to that of “Marvelous Mrs. Maisel” star Rachel Brosnahan — and that she looked much better.

“He can wear makeup, heels, and a dress, but he’s still and always will be a dude,” Libs of TikTok wrote in a post on X, along with a clown emoji.

Van Ness has been a strong advocate for allowing minors to “transition.”

Transgender actor Karla Sofía Gascón also appeared on the red carpet after being nominated in the female category “best actress in a comedy or musical” despite being biologically male.

Gascón, who was widely expected to win for his role in “Emilia Perez,” lost to Demi Moore.

Gascón decided to live as a “woman” while in his 40s.
