Dr. Simone Gold, founder of America’s Frontline Doctors, was released from a Miami federal prison on Friday, two weeks before completing the end of her 60-day sentence.
The doctor served time for a misdemeanor trespassing conviction for speaking with a megaphone inside the U.S. Capitol building during the protest of the stolen 2020 election on January 6.
Sporting corn braids and a big smile, Gold is seen in footage posted on her Twitter account gesturing a heart with her hands.
“I’m back,” she jubilantly declared after walking out of the jail.

“During her 6 weeks in prison since late July, Gold, or her representatives, posted online and on Twitter that she had been placed in solitary confinement for 8 days for refusing the COVID vaccine, which she has long maintained is an ineffective “fraud,” Med Page Today reports.
The Federal Bureau of Prisons confirmed in an email that Gold was released Friday even though she was not slated for release until Sunday, Sept. 11, but did not disclose what prompted her early release, the publication noted.
The conditions of confinement, transfers or release plans are not made public “for privacy, safety and security reason,” an FBP spokesperson stated.
Rep. Louie Gohmert greeted Dr. Gold as she embraced being free outside the prison and gifted the Frontline Doctor with an American flag that was flown over the U.S. Capitol.

Dr. Gold thanked patriots for providing her with “overwhelming support” while she was incarcerated.
“Thank you for believing in me,” she wrote. “I will not let you down.”
I am incredibly grateful for the overwhelming support from the public, and I am happy to finally be reunited with my loved ones.
Thank you for believing in me. I will not let you down.

As the Gateway Pundit reported, in March, Dr. Gold plead guilty to a class A misdemeanor count, “entering and remaining in a restricted building charge.”
She did not engage in acts of violence on the Capitol grounds. She was documented speaking on a megaphone in National Statuary Hall warning against the dangers of experimental Covid shots and government-mandated lockdowns.
In addition to serving a prison sentence for exercising the First Amendment on January 6, Gold was ordered to pay a $9,500 fine and $500 restitution to the U.S. Capitol architect for damages left behind on the Capitol building during the protest.
