It seems like all anyone can talk about right now is Don’t Worry Darling. The movie has caused so much buzz in the press that I think you’d need to be living under a rock in order to escape it. Last night, the much-anticipated premiere finally happened in New York City, and director and actor Olivia Wilde made sure to dress for the occasion.
Wilde showed up to the premiere in a sleek, backless black dress that was showstopping on its own, but I couldn’t help but fixate on the beauty. (I am a beauty editor, after all!) If there’s one thing Wilde always gets right, it’s a flawless smoky eye, and this look didn’t disappoint. Wilde’s makeup artist, Mélanie Inglessis, created the look using Armani Beauty products, and the end result was absolutely stunning. Find the entire beauty breakdown below.
In a press release, Inglessis shared that she started Wilde’s makeup with this lightweight, luminizing primer.
It wouldn’t be an Armani makeup look without the brand’s iconic cult-favorite foundation. This formula mimics skin while adding radiance.
If you want dewy skin at all times, this glow-boosting fluid should be a staple in your makeup kit. Inglessis mixed it with the Luminous Silk Foundation for an allover gleam.
Inglessis used this concealer under Wilde’s eyes to add brightness.
Unlike most setting powders, this one has a subtle sheen to it that adds radiance to skin while it sets rather than mattifying it.
Inglessis popped this warm amber shadow all over Wilde’s eyelids.
To give Wilde the ultimate smoky eye, Inglessis lined her eyes with this ultra-blendable pencil.
For volume, curl, and tons of length, Inglessis finished Wilde’s eyes with this do-it-all mascara.
It may be understated, but I’ll go on record saying that this dreamy petal-pink lip color was the star of the show.
