On Monday, Maricopa County Recorder Stephen Richer issued a contemptuous 17-page response to his formal censure by the Maricopa County Executive Committee.
The Gateway Pundit previously reported that on August 4, the Executive Guidance Committee of the Maricopa County Republican Committee voted to censure Richer, citing the “maladministration of his duties,” which “resulted in significant failures (including reports of printers and scanners not working and the Pentel felt-tip pen smearing and not drying), unnecessary delays, and irregularities; all of which significantly tarnishing the reputation of Maricopa County on the national stage.”
The censure also referenced Stephen Richer’s “disregard for the irregularities reported in the Arizona Senate audit of the 2020 Election, and his continued failures in the 2022 Primary Election,” which he claimed was untrue in his response.
However, Richer fought against the Arizona 2020 Election audit every step of the way, in lockstep with the corrupt Maricopa County Supervisors. In a recent triggered Tweet, he also labeled the auditors “idiot, incompetent, immoral fraudsters.”
The resolution to censure Richer passed with 13 “yes” votes and 11 “no” votes.
One week later, the Arizona Legislative District 3 Republicans also voted to censure RINO Maricopa County Supervisor Bill Gates citing the 2020 Election, the 2022 Primary Election, and his statements rooting for Democrats in the 2022 General Election.
Richer initially responded to his own censure on Twitter by laughing at his own party and saying, “Oh well. I’m fine with it.”
Although he claims that tabulation and election day operations were under the oversight of the County Board of Supervisors, he later admits that he worked “alongside the Board of Supervisors” in 2022, stating that he is “proud” of the job they did together.
We previously reported on the massive voter fraud concerns and voter irregularities that occurred the moment polls opened on Primary Election Day in Maricopa County. This included a faulty and inconsistent pen recommendation at the polls, ballot printer malfunctions, unsolicited mail-in ballots, and voters being told they already voted. These issues led to some voters being turned away from the polls or told to visit a different polling location.
Other counties across the state saw similar issues, like in Pinal County, where they ran out of ONLY REPUBLICAN ballots and turned voters away or made them wait hours.
Now, Richer is playing the victim and deflecting the blame as more information is uncovered about the election, including Maricopa County’s unfair and potentially illegal hiring of more Democratic poll watchers than Republicans.
Last week, we reported that Maricopa County hired over 100 more Democrats than Republicans for the August Primary Election, leaving some polling locations with no Republican poll workers.
In the 2020 Election, Richer ran on a platform of rooting out corruption in elections and cracking down on election fraud, but he has done the exact opposite.
These days, Richer listed on the member page of Save Democracy Arizona, a coalition that seeks to radically change our elections through ranked-choice voting, which helped the Democrats steal Alaska’s Congressional Election from Sarah Palin.
On Save Democracy Arizona’s webpage, an article titled, “Ranked-choice voting diffuses extremism. Which is why it worked against Palin” encourages states to keep trying to enact this system.
Richer also supports the corrupt ERIC system, a left-wing voter registration drive disguised as voter roll clean-up. The Gateway Pundit conducted a full investigation into the organization and discovered that it was initially funded by the Soros Open Society, and it is now responsible for “cleaning” the voter rolls in 31 States. Using ERIC, the largest U.S. counties removed only ZERO to TWO ineligible voters From Their Voter Rolls in the Last 4 Years!
However, before he was elected in 2020, Richer shared concerns about electronic tabulation equipment and online voter registration information, saying, “local elections officials have an enormous responsibility to protect our elections from interference.”
He also shared his concerns about the mass mail-in ballots when he reported that people were receiving Republican Primary ballots instead of General Election ballots less than one week before the stolen 2020 election.
This was before he fell into lockstep with the County Supervisors, claiming it was the most secure election in history.
Maricopa County Member at Large Brian Ference, who drafted the resolution to censure Stephen Richer, told The Gateway Pundit,
Ference: Despite Richer’s overly-long and overly-whiny 17-page response, it appears the MCRC censure of him and the LD3 censure of MCBOS Chairman Bill Gates were both aptly timed and well deserved. Richer thanks the board members who voted no but fails to realize most of them also voiced concerns that Richer was doing a terrible job and is a poor representative of the AZGOP—they simply thought the timing of censuring him should be delayed until after November 2022. In the first page of his gas-lighting reply, Richer fails in stroking his own ego and instead exposes that he does “support, and would defend, your ability as a private organization to ask me to wear a mask at your meetings, to require that I be vaccinated if in your employ.” The former is useless and serves no purpose, and the latter, not backed by science with negative efficacy, has been struck down in every high court as highly illegal and highly unconstitutional.
Richer goes on with finger-pointing and humble-bragging, but admits he and the MCBOS are working in lockstep, saying, “I relate none of this to defer responsibility. We are one team at Maricopa County, and though Election Day operations and tabulation are not my statutory responsibility, I worked at least 16 hours each day on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday alongside the Board of Supervisors’ designees and was consulted in all decision making concerning those processes. I am proud of all parts of the election that Maricopa County ran.”
By his own request, let’s not separate the incompetence of the Recorder and MCBOS in facilitating the voter registration, cleaning of the voter rolls, early and day of voting, and tabulation. We now know that Maricopa has illegally hired more democrat poll workers than republican, and Stephen Richer is publicly supporting bringing the disaster of Rank Choice Voting to Arizona as a “Team Member” of the “Save Democracy AZ” along with John Giles, Adrian Fontes, and Heather Carter. What a team. Where there is smoke, there is fire. Stephen Richer and Bill Gates should both resign immediately.
Brian Ference
In the 17-page letter, Richer deflects blame to the Board of Supervisors while contradicting himself on his role in running the election and blaming “conspiracy theories” for the lack of trust in Arizona’s elections and Dominion Voting Systems.
However, The Gateway Pundit exclusively reported on undercover audio tapes revealing that Stephen Richer does not trust Dominion and agrees the 2020 election was compromised. This comes from former Maricopa County Supervisor Steve Chucri who resigned following our bombshell reports.
