Victoria urged to toughen hate crime laws as anti-Asian attacks rise

A rise in racially-motivated incidents towards people from Asian backgrounds during the COVID-19 pandemic reinforces the need for tougher laws against hate crimes, a parliamentary committee in Victoria will be told.
