Biden’s America: Wife of Pro-Life Activist Films Heavily Armed FBI Agents Who Arrested Her Husband at Home (Video)

This is Joe Biden’s America: A country home in Tennessee on a sunny autumn morn decorated for the fall season, with heavily armed FBI agents swarming the property while a wife is heard begging for answers as Biden’s Gestapo takes her husband away for being pro-life.

On Wednesday Biden’s Gestapo arrested eleven pro-life activists for a peaceful protest at an abortion clinic that took place over a year ago. The eleven pro-life activists face up to eleven years in prison and $250,000 in fines. (Details below)

Screen images from cellphone video taken by his wife show FBI agents at the front door of the home of Paul Vaughn, 55, after they arrested him at gunpoint in front of his family before they walk off refusing to answer questions while one agent comes around from behind the house.

Video posted by Town Hall’s Mia Cathell, “One of the pro-life leaders targeted by Biden’s DOJ sent me footage of the early morning FBI raid on his family home. Paul Vaughn was placed in handcuffs by armed FBI agents in front of his children just before school drop-off. Watch as his wife pleads for answers mid-arrest:”

Cathell also posted a thread on those arrested, including Vaughn.

55-year-old Paul Vaughn of Personhood Tennessee said the scene of the pro-life protest (which the federal charges stem from) was “like church service” with protestors “singing hymns, reading scripture, praying.” pic.twitter.com/9BnZlfFvbb

Retired FBI agent Steve Gray commented on the raid, “This force used by the FBI to effect this arrest is unacceptable and unnecessary. I’ve been on numerous gang and organized crime arrests within the NY FBI. We never brought or displayed rifles to make those arrests. The Agent’s should have given their names when requested.”

A description of Vaughn’s arrest via a GiveSendGo page posted on his behalf:

My pro-life friend, Paul Vaughn, was arrested yesterday by the FBI in an early morning raid in front of his family. Paul is the President of Personhood Tennessee, a group that advocates for a biblical view of the inalienable dignity of the human person.

Paul is a peace loving Christian family man.

At around 7 am, four heavily armed FBI agents approached Paul’s home with guns drawn and began banging on his door so hard that it made his old farmhouse shake. A father of 11, Paul’s alleged crime is that he had been present at a peaceful pro-life “rescue” that took place over a year ago in March of 2021 in Mount Juliet, Tennessee.

Paul was never arrested by the local police because he was working to mediate between the pro-life rescuers and the police to ensure everyone’s safety. No one was hurt and no property was damaged as a result of the pro-life “rescue.”

A rescue is a peaceful form of protest that involves non-violent pro-life protesters engaging in America’s long standing tradition of opposing injustice with peaceful civil disobedience. The event of March 2021 involved several pro-life activists sitting in a hallway outside of an abortion clinic in Tennessee singing hymns, reading scripture, and praying. No one was hurt and no property was damaged. For this, the FBI is charging the protesters with violations of the FACE Act which carry sentences of more than 10 years in prison and $250,000. Paul is also being charged with conspiracy to violate the FACE Act just because he was there.

Paul’s arrest by the FBI with guns drawn and in front of his children coincided with Joe Biden’s press conference marking 100 days since the US Supreme Court overruled Roe v. Wade in the Dobbs v. Jackson case. At that press conference, President Biden announce tens of millions in grants to pro-abortion groups and issued guidelines to weaponize the department of Education against state universities in pro-life states.

Yesterday’s arrest of Paul Vaughn appears to be timed to coincide with the President’s press conference as he met with the “Reproductive Rights Taskforce”. It shows that President Biden is using the taxpayer to fund his pro-abortion political allies while using the Justice Department and the FBI to persecute and harass his political opponents.

Paul Vaughn is the President of Personhood Tennessee a pro-life affiliate of the Personhood Alliance. He is a peaceful and principled pro-life family man and small business owner and does not deserve to be subject to the FBI’s brutal intimidation.
Please help us provide funds for his legal defense and to offset the costs to his family of his arrest.

Thank you for helping Paul bear the costs of standing up for the voiceless.

God bless you,

Gualberto Garcia Jones, Esq.
General Counsel of the Personhood Alliance

Justice Department press release on the mass arrests:

Eleven Charged With FACE Act Violations Stemming From 2021 Blockade OF Mount Juliet Reproductive Health Clinic

NASHVILLE – A federal indictment unsealed today charges eleven individuals with violations of the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances (FACE) Act, announced U.S. Attorney Mark H. Wildasin, for the Middle District of Tennessee and Kristen M. Clarke, Assistant Attorney General for the Civil Rights Division.

The indictment, returned on Monday by a federal grand jury sitting in Nashville, charges the following seven individuals with conspiracy against rights secured by the FACE Act, and committing FACE Act violations:

Chester Gallagher, 73, of Lebanon, Tennessee; Heather Idoni, 58; Calvin Zastrow, 57; and Caroline Davis, 24; all of Michigan; Coleman Boyd, 51, of Bolton, Mississippi; Dennis Green, 56, of Cumberland, Virginia; and Paul Vaughn, 55, of Centerville, Tennessee.

The indictment also charges the following individuals with committing FACE Act violations: Eva Edl, 87, of Aiken South Carolina; Eva Zastro, 24, of Dover, Arkansas; James Zastro, 25, of Eldon, Missouri; and Paul Place, 24, of Centerville, Tennessee. All defendants will have appearances scheduled in U.S. District Court in Nashville at a later date.

The indictment alleges that, beginning in February 2021, Chester Gallagher utilized social media to promote a series of anti-abortion events scheduled for March 4-7, 2021, in the Nashville area. Other co-conspirators then utilized Facebook to coordinate travel and logistics and to identify other participants for the blockade. On March 4, 2021, Coleman Boyd and Chester Gallager advertised the blockade of the Carafem Health Center Clinic, in Mount Juliet, Tennessee, which was planned for the following day. In his social media post, Gallagher referred to the blockade as a “rescue.” Boyd also began a Facebook livestream broadcast of the clinic blockade at 7:45 a.m. on March 5, 2021. This livestream broadcast was titled, in part, “Mt. Juliet, TN Rescue March 5, 2021,” and livestreamed the blockade event as his coconspirators and others blocked the clinic’s entry doors and prevented a patient and an employee from entering. The livestream also broadcast members of the group attempting to engage a patient and her companion as Boyd told his livestream audience that the patient was a “mom coming to kill her baby.”

The indictment further alleges that on March 5, 2021, the 11 individuals, aided and abetted by one another, used force and physical obstruction to injure, intimidate, and interfere with employees of the clinic and a patient who was seeking reproductive health services.

If convicted, those charged with conspiracy face up to 11 years in prison and fines of up to $250,000. Others face up to one year in prison for the misdemeanor offense and fines of up to $10,000.

This case was investigated by the FBI and is being prosecuted by the Civil Rights Coordinator of the U.S. Attorney’s Office and trial Attorneys of the Department’s Civil Rights Division.

An indictment is merely an accusation. All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
