Act Quickly—These Designer Lipsticks Are Limited Edition and Bound to Sell Out

Ahh, lipstick—one of my favorite beauty topics. If you’re like me and can’t seem to keep your collection in check, I’m sorry to do this to you, but I have a few more picks you might need to add to your roster. Before you click away, hear me out on these. Sure, you may have a nice variety of both drugstore and luxury options, but I must say that there’s something special about getting a shade that also happens to be *limited edition,* thank you very much.

The holiday season is especially ripe for this. All my favorite makeup brands from Dior and Charlotte Tilbury to Nars and YSL tend to release limited-run shades and tubes just in time for the gifting season. After all, an exclusive hue can make an incredible gift for any makeup lover in your life. If limited-edition lipsticks are your thing, you’re going to want to keep reading. I found the best ones to give (and get) this holiday season from the best designer brands. Take a peak below and make haste—they won’t stay in stock for long.

Not only is this one of our picks for best party lipsticks, but the orange-red shade is also limited edition. it has a creamy texture with ingredients like grape extract and carnauba wax that allow for extra comfort along with a high pigment payoff.

Act quickly—this multidimensional shimmer shade from Pat McGrath will sell out quickly since it has a limited run. Normally, I’m not very into glitter formulas when it comes to lipstick, but this shade is the exception. It adds just the right amount of shimmer and shine without looking too over the top.

Clé de Peau’s raspberry-colored satin lipstick is high on my holiday wish list. It contains a hybrid skincare-makeup formula that plumps with hyaluronic acid and nourishes with argan oil and vitamin E.

This Dior set is so beyond cute. You can either earn major points from a close friend by buying it for them or you can snag it for yourself. Either way, it’s an entirely great decision. It’s honestly the clutch and lipstick holder for me, but each of these gorgeous shades are wearable for years to come.

This gorgeous deep-red color is one of three limited-edition shades Hermès unveiled as part of its fall/winter 2022 Rouge collection. It’s a matte formula but has a second-skin effect promising luxurious moisture and all-day comfort. Its velvety finish also offers long-lasting, bold color.

Nars is offering its award-winning lipstick in a limited-edition shade and special holiday packaging. The photo makes the color look a bit orange, but it’s actually more of a warm beige shade perfect for everyday wear. Grab this one while you can—I have a feeling supplies won’t last through the gift-giving season.

Guys, you really shouldn’t sleep on Byredo’s makeup products, specifically, the brand’s lipsticks. This limited edition set of five glossy liquid formulas is well worth the price. I have my eye on the shade Fantôme in particular because it can be worn alone as a gloss or high-impact topcoat for the other formulas. There are also hues for every mood and occasion and each lipstick contains a blend of vegan oils to deliver hours of hydration.

I’m obsessed with pretty much any Armani Beauty product that touches my face—the brand’s cult-loved Luminous Silk Foundation is still one of my top three favorites. The brand’s baby-soft lipsticks are equally as amazing so this limited edition Satin Lipstick Duo is a no-brainer for me.

Another great option from Dior that comes in a refillable couture case. The Addict Lipstick contains jasmine wax and plum oil for extra shine, hydration, and vibrant color.

Confession time—I can never have too many YSL lipsticks or mascaras. I wear the brand’s formulas often and this cheetah-print case is too cute to pass up. I also just love this color because it’s just the perfect red. It isn’t too dark or overly bright like a fire engine red shade would be. It sits perfectly in the middle and flatters all skin tones.

Givenchy’s matte formula offers long-lasting comfort and can preserve hydration for up to six hours. Yes, it has more of a powdery finish, but it’s nice to know both the pigment and moisture levels won’t suffer because of it.

The obsession with this warm orange-red shade from Lancôme is real. Enriched with rose extract and hyaluronic acid, it will help soothe and plump your lips naturally while staying pretty matte.
