DON’T NOD’s Next Game Is a Narrative Experience Titled Harmony: The Fall of Reverie

During yesterday’s Nintendo Direct, Paris-based studio DON’T NOD Entertainment announced its next game, a so-called narrative experience titled Harmony: The Fall of Reverie.

The game will be released in June on PC (Steam), PlayStation 5, Xbox Series S|X, and Nintendo Switch. DON’T NOD CEO Oskar Guilbert said in a statement:

We are excited to reveal Harmony: The Fall of Reverie at the Nintendo Direct. It is a unique game in its narration with an incredible art direction. We hope players will find this experience stunning and refreshing and that the unique narrative will connect deeply with them. We can’t wait to show more soon.

In the very near future… When Polly returns home after a few years abroad to look for her missing mother, she quickly realizes that her hometown has drastically changed. A megacorporation named MK is using its power to control the population, and her community is in danger.

She soon discovers that she has a gift of clairvoyance that connects her to Reverie, the realm of the Aspirations of Humanity: Glory, Bliss, Power, Chaos, Bond, and Truth. In this world, Polly becomes Harmony, a goddess who has the power to choose the Aspiration that will ultimately rule over Reverie and restore the delicate balance between the deities’ world and ours. The fate of humanity is at stake. To which destiny do you aspire?

Harmony: Fall of Reverie is just one of the six projects in development at DON’T NOD. Another one announced at The Game Awards 2022 is the action RPG Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden, scheduled to launch in late 2023 for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series S|X.
