As promised, the OnePlus 11 Jupiter Rock is finally here and well, it is what you would expect from a standard OnePlus 11, but with some added oomph on top. Sadly, the phone is not made out of marble, and even the company’s explanation is a bit puzzling.
Thankfully, the company has expanded upon the 3D microcrystalline rock a bit more this time around. OnePlus says that the back of the OnePlus 11 Jupiter Rock is made in such a way that it looks akin to Jupiter, complete with various textures across the back.
The OnePlus 11 Jupiter Rock is one of the coolest variants that you can buy with top-tier specs
The company is using a process called “natural graining,” which ensures that every phone has a different texture on the back. The light brown color of the phone also comes with tiny white flecks spread across. The OnePlus 11 Jupiter Rock’s back is made with little white dots, or flecks inspired by Jupiter’s famous diamond rain.
OnePlus has also mentioned that the phone is cool to the touch. The OnePlus 11 Jupiter Rock should feel like a jade stone that has been exposed to water for a long, long time. Thankfully, the back of the phone is wear-resistant, comes with antibacterial properties, and is also resistant to fingerprints. Sadly, we still do not know the exact material used in the phone.

There are some additional visual differences between the OnePlus 11 Jupiter Rock and the standard variant. The metallic frame comes with a gold color scheme to complement the back of the phone. But other than that, everything is exactly the same as the vanilla variant. You are getting a 6.7-inch QHD+ 120Hz OLED screen, Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, 50MP+48MP+32MP triple camera setup, with a 16-megapixel shooter on the front. The phone is powered by a 5,000 mAh battery that can be charged with 100W wired charging.
As far as the pricing and availability are concerned, the phone can be yours for 4,899 Yuan, which is a little over $700. The phone only comes in a single 16/512GB configuration. At the time of writing, there is no official word on whether the phone will be released outside of China but we will keep you posted if that does happen.
