M&S’s Designer-Looking Heels Are Suddenly Back in Stock in All 3 Colours

“I thought they were Prada!” is the first thing Hannah Almassi, Who What Wear’s editor in chief says when she sees my latest Marks and Spencer purchase, and she wasn’t the only one. Digging into M&S’ extensive new-in section and finding hidden treasures has become a hobby of mine, and after the success of their Chelsea bootscrossbody bag, and in fact, just about all of their basics, it’s clear that the high-street hero has been undergoing a fashionable update as of late.

We all know that spring can be difficult to dress for, and the confusing mix of sunny spells and chilly temperatures means I don’t know whether to reach for chunky boots or sandals in the morning, so I’m pleased to say that M&S has the perfect solution, and it’s shoe you can continue to wear in summer, autumn, and actually, probably winter, too.

Marks and Spencer’s Kitten Heel Slingback shoes are a revelation. A little bit Prada, a little bit Miu Miu, and at only £45, they tick all the important boxes when it comes to buying a new pair of shoes. Affordable? Check. Comfortable? Double check. The right balance of trend-led vs timeless appeal? Check, and check again. Just when Valentino tried to convince us that towering platforms would be the look du jour, the far more stylish (and wearable) kitten-heeled slingback trend took over the runways, and in turn street style, before making it’s way to the high street, and just in time for spring.

While I do have an affinity for wearing both colourways with socks at the moment (I’m going to blame those icy winds), they also look just as good with tights, or on their own, styled simply with a pair of good jeans and a shirt or knit. Win, win.

So, if you’re looking for a pair of shoes perfect for spring, keep scrolling to shop the designer looking Marks and Spencer shoes I predict are about to have a very good season. They’re back in stock now, but after selling out and coming back twice already, something tells me they won’t be around for long.

Honestly, I can’t choose between all-black and this statement two-toned pair.

Just add sheer tights or socks for a nod to runway styling.

And, there’s a brand new ivory colourway too.

Easily the comfiest platform shoes around, and that is no exaggeration.

I have these in black and white after wearing them almost everyday last summer.

If you invested in the fisherman sandal trend last year, the good news is, they’re back.

Another pair of shoes that’ll fool people into thinking you spent three figures.

That sculptural wedge! The slingback! The patent leather! I need to shake the hand of whoever is designing M&S shoes right now.

The ballet pump is back, and we’re happy to welcome any trend that doesn’t require blister plasters.

I’m getting Alexander McQueen energy from these tough boots with chunky hardware.

Simple, stylish, and an easy boot that you can rely on.
