I’ll be honest, I love a good comeback. Anytime that a brand returns to the forefront after a few years of sitting on the side lines, I feel a small internal cheer that they’ve just got it right. Think back to the last few years where UGGs revived themselves from their early 00’s standing, or the rediscovery of Diesel. For 2023, there’s one shoe brand fashion people have declared chic once more: Scholl.
Emmanuelle styles her Sabot sandals with a sweet mini dress for the height of summer.
It comes as no surprise that Scholl has resurfaced as the brand to own. As fashion people, we know that a shoe can be the make or break of an outfit, whilst often being the most difficult piece to decide on. Luckily, Scholl’s summer sandals are so chic I’m pretty sure they’ll go with anything. (Just take a look at our fashion friends styling them with everything from knit skirts, to mini dresses, to wide-leg trousers).
We’re so pleased about the clogs revival. Jeanne styles hers for the transeasonnal months with socks.
There’s good reason that Scholl is taking pride of place once again in our wardrobes. Firstly, they’re seriously chic. Scrolling through their new-in selection, you’ll find an array of sandal styles from clog shapes to sandals, and even a 60’s style hybrid that is proving to be particularly popular this year. The styles come in a variety of colours and prints, with suede finishes also offered up. With summer just around the corner, we’re readying our pedicures to slip on our sandals in the next few weeks. The second feature that sets Scholl apart, and is almost just as important as the first, is the focus on comfort. The brand began with comfort collections, and grew their technology to ensure each shoe has clever design details to ensure you’re comfortable all day long. Win-win.
If you’re ready for sandal season, keep scrolling to explore the comeback shoe for summer 2023.
Camille’s off-duty outfit is that much cooler with Sabot’s as a finishing touch.
